Fox Cuts Into Obama's NATO Speech To Air Karl Rove's Partisan Attack

Hemmer_Rove.png

President Obama spoke at a NATO Summit in Estonia this morning. According to Media Matters, the speech was carried live from start to finish by both MSNBC and CNN. But Fox News interrupted Obama's speech shortly after two minutes, went to a commercial and then began an interview with uber partisan Karl Rove.

Ironically, Hemmer cut into Obama's speech by saying, “And that is a critical line directed to Vladimir Putin in Moscow.” But, apparently, it was not so critical as what Rove had to say. Nor so critical that Fox felt the need to air any more. After the break, Rove came on and lit into Obama - egged on by Hemmer.

If Fox wants to hear from Rove, fine, but can’t they wait until the president finishes his speech? This was not only disrespectful to President Obama but proved that Fox is more interested in airing attacks on Obama than in anything he actually has to say.

Shame on them.
