Fox’s Tantaros Sympathizes With Malaysian Airliner Victims… Because Of Benghazi
Andrea Tantaros was oh-so sympathetic to the Malaysian Airliner victims and their families today. So sympathetic that her thoughts naturally turned to politically exploiting them by bringing up Benghazi.

Last night, Bill O’Reilly’s “tip of the day” was about websites that “save you money.” The main recommendation was Overstock.com. Unfortunately for The O’Reilly Factor viewers, the "internet detectives" looking into the site either overlooked or ignored the nearly $7 million fine recently levied against the company for inflating its advertised discounts.
Read moreOn The Five: More Fox Fear And Loathing Of Muslims
Fox News actively pushes an alternate reality in which American Christians are the victims of ongoing persecution. During a recent persecuted Christian whinefest, on the Hannity show, professional Christian and former Jack Abramoff pal, Ralph Reed, said that attacks on Christians are "the last acceptable form of bigotry in our culture." That this statement is both laughable and a lie is underscored by Fox News' ongoing attacks on the LGBT community, atheists, and Muslims - a religious group that Fox bashes "with impunity" such as when, on last week's The Five, good Christian Andrea Tantaros said that Islam is the "most intolerant" religion evah. Last night, the tolerant Five advanced the outrage of the Islamophobic cottage industry over the Virginia Assembly's recent passage of a resolution honoring a Virginia mosque which, according to the Breitbart article linked on The Five's website, is a "terror mosque." Oh, noooo....

Although it's 1:30 am eastern time, Fox News, CNN and MSNBC are all live with the news that two large items that "may be" debris from the missing Malaysian jet have been spotted by satellite more than 1700 miles off Perth, Australia. Shepard Smith and Anderson Cooper are live on Fox and CNN, respectively. Betty Nguyen is anchoring at MSNBC.

Read moreBill O’Reilly’s Missing Malaysian Airplane Sour Grapes
Bill O’Reilly is not happy with all the media attention over the missing Malaysian airplane. I'm sure it has nothing to do with how CNN has been beating him in the ratings with the story. But, while whining that the coverage has “corrupt(ed) the news business,” O’Reilly played at taking the journalistic high road - by fear mongering that the media is ignoring a looming World War III.
Read moreBill Hemmer Thinks Noah's Ark Is Real?!
Just when you think that Fox News hosts couldn't get any more inane, along comes a comment that disabuses you of that notion. In what has to be one of the most extraordinary WTF!? moments of Fox News "news" reporting, alleged "news" anchor Bill Hemmer, in discussing whether or not Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 will be found, said the following: “So, what, it took us 100 years to find the Titanic. It took us 2,000 years to find Noah’s Ark. Do we ever find flight 370?" First, the story of Noah's Ark, part of a Middle Eastern origin story, has no basis in science. Second, claims that the Ark was found are as bogus as Fox News. Video after the jump.
Fox Guest Blames Obama For ‘Completely’ Messed Up Malaysian Investigation Into Missing Airplane
On the same day that Mitt Romney lit into President Obama over foreign policy (despite a noticeable lack of credentials of his own), former Romney advisor Richard Grenell just happened to appear in a Hannity show discussion about the missing Malaysian airplane. There, Grenell focused on finding creative ways to use the situation to smear President Obama.
Read moreBrian Kilmeade Claims Obama Administration 'Fudging' Deportation Numbers
Nothing that President Obama does will please the GOP. You would think that the number of deportations, done by his administration, would make them happy - particularly after the president of La Raza, an immigration activist organization loathed by the anti-immigration right wing, referred to Obama as the "deporter-in-chief." But rather than credit the President with pursuing all those brown people who are "invading" our country, the anti-immigration is claiming that the deportation numbers don't count because of where the deportations are taking place. So it's no surprise that Fox News, which never wastes an opportunity to smear the President and play the fear of "illegals" card, is advancing this newest claim. This morning, Brian Kilmeade hosted the anti-immigration Kansas Secretary of State, Kris Kobach, for more smears and fear.
Read moreFox Wants You To Think The Missing Malaysian Airplane Is A Successful Al Qaeda Terrorism Operation
Fox & Friends turned to a guy who recently endorsed assassinating President Obama for help in baseless fear mongering that Al Qaeda may well have seized the missing Malaysian airplane in an “extraordinarily professional” terror operation. Host Brian Kilmeade chimed in to characterize the hypothetical terrorism operation a “success.” Even as the disclaimers about not knowing what really happened were tossed out, Kilmeade and Scheuer deliberately and repeatedly suggested terrorists are involved.
