Andrea Tantaros was oh-so sympathetic to the Malaysian Airliner victims and their families today. So sympathetic that her thoughts naturally turned to politically exploiting them by bringing up Benghazi.
It was all part of The Five’s selfless thoughts about the families of the passengers on the missing Malaysian jet.
Kimberly Guilfoyle started it off, her voice hushed in hammy compassion:
Imagine if you’re one of those family members and you know that another country has the means, has the ability, the economic wherewithal to actually get this investigation going in the right direction – where you can get some answers for these poor people. How frustrating! It’s like having a cure for a disease and you just can’t reach out and take it.
Tantaros was a similar vision of theatrical condolence:
I know. I mean, watching the footage and watching the footage of that Malaysian woman that was being played over and over last night, it’s just so sad. But think how long it took for them to get this kind of media attention? I mean, Living in Malaysia, the government seemingly ignored these people. They didn’t want their stories out. They weren’t talking to them. …You see the cameras rolling. They were saying, “No one has come to my house. No one has told me what has happened.”
Then, addressing her Fox-News-liberal co-host, Bob Beckel, she added, “Bob, get ready. Put these in your ears (she put her fingers in her ears). Feels like the families of Benghazi. Just saying.”
Sure you were, Punchy. Or to put it another way, when you’re as charismatically challenged as Tantaros is, you’ve got nowhere to go on Fox except to ramp up divisiveness. Just saying.

I had March 21st in the pool on when would someone at Fox would use the missing plane with Benghazi. Damn it!
Where was this sympathy from conservatives when it came to stem cell research?
