Fox's 'The Five' Rallies Round Homophobic Soldier
Todd Starnes never served; but he loves a man in uniform - especially those who are being persecuted by the nefarious forces of evil atheism which have now taken over the military and are attacking the Christianity of spirit filled, Jesus loving, homo hating Christian soldiers who are just trying to spread the good word. Last week, Starnes briefly put down his Crispy Cremes to write about how a nice, homo hating, Jesus loving soldier, Nathan Sommers, was disciplined for serving Jesus' own Chick fil-A at a party held in honor of his promotion and DOMA. And now, OMG, he claims that he was ordered to stop reading books by right wing authors including Starnes' pal, Sean Hannity. This "outrage" spread throughout the world of persecuted right wing Christians, so, not surprisingly Jesus' close pals on "The Five" used the opportunity to, once again, promote the bogus war on military Christians, bash Obama, and show their solidarity with good, Christian homophobia in yet another reality challenged Fox propaganda opinion piece.

File this one under "Good Riddance" and it could apply to either Rupert Murdoch or his soon-to-be ex-wife Wendi Deng. The 82-year-old billionaire has filed divorce papers in New York to shed the 44 year-old Deng, his third wife. According to the NY Daily News, "Reasons for the divorce are not immediately clear, though a spokesman said the marriage has been irretrievably broken for more than six months." It's hard to feel too sorry for either of these extremely unlikeable people.

I've posted recently about Sean Hannity's sudden about-face on NSA surveillance. After savagely attacking Democrats for not supporting wireless wiretapping, he's now savagely attacking the Obama administration for FISA-court approved data mining. Unfortunately, I don't have video from the Bush-era NSA controversies. But Media Matters does and they put together a mashup that throws such a stark spotlight on Hannity's rank, partisan hypocrisy, I don't know how anyone can ever take his bullyboy punditry seriously again.

Although Fox News describes Neil Cavuto's Your World as a daily "financial program," financial news was hard to find yesterday. Unless you count a segment about the IRS possibly seizing medical records. A rundown of the topics reveals a certain obsessive focus - and it's not financial.
Read moreHannity Exploits Sarah Murnaghan’s Lung Transplant To Bash Obama Administration And Kathleen Sebelius
Let me say that while I certainly hope that little Sarah Murnaghan’s life is saved by the double lung transplant she just received, I’m far less thrilled with the way her family shoved her to the front of the line and cozied up to conservatives and Fox News to get their way. Now that the young girl was given preference over some adult (and the heck with his or her story), Sean Hannity was a vision of altruistic beneficence last night. I’m sure it had nothing to do with the fact the girl became a Republican cause célèbre asking for Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to grant special treatment. But even amidst all that selfless compassion, Hannity just couldn’t turn down the opportunity to use the moment to attack the Obama administration.
Read moreAnn Coulter’s Anti-Hispanic Rant: They’re Anti-Semitic, Capitalism Haters Who Will Ruin The Country If Immigration Reform Passes
Ann Coulter visited the Hannity show tonight to discuss her opposition to the Senate immigration reform bill – and the Republicans who support it. But Coulter worked herself into such a lather of incendiary invective that she lashed out at Hispanics as a whole, calling them anti-capitalism and pro choice. She also made the dubious claim that foreign-born Hispanics are “the most anti-Semitic in the country.”
Read moreBrian Kilmeade Is A White Supremacist Supporter?
It would appear that Fox's Brian Kilmeade, "the dark haired guy who isn't Steve Doocy," has some issues involving Islam. He was quite the standard bearer for Fox News' campaign against the so called "Ground Zero Mosque" and even tweeted about how "outraged" "we" were about this "problem." After the Boston bombing, he recommended that all mosques should be bugged. When Kilmeade said that "all Muslims are terrorists," a comment for which he offered a half-hearted apology, it didn't seem to be just a careless mistake but a sentiment straight from the heart. But who knew that he supports white supremacy? We know now because, as reported on Media Matters, Kilmeade gave a full throated endorsement, during his radio show yesterday, to Stephen Laxley-Lennon, aka Tommy Robinson, head of the white supremacist English Defense League which, like Kilmeade, is anti-Muslim. And that's obviously why Kilmeade told him that "we got your back."
Read moreHere Comes The Fox News Martyring Of George Zimmerman
After some of the most blatant and deliberate demonization of Trayvon Martin, Fox News is now setting up his killer, George Zimmerman, as a media martyr. For extra agenda points, the “fair and balanced” network is exploiting the whole thing as another excuse to belligerently howl about the “liberal media.”
Read moreFox Suggests That SNAP Food Benefits Promote Promiscuity Among Welfare Queens
Sean Hannity and his guests bent over backwards last night not to look like they were race baiting over the sensationalized case of a black man who fathered 22 children by “at least” 14 women. So instead, they made him a poster child for everything wrong with welfare and welfare recipients. Not surprisingly, nobody bothered to note that he’s far from typical.
Read moreFox News: Trayvon Martin Could Have Killed People With Skittles Or Iced Tea
In yet another attempt to “be fair” (Fox News style) to George Zimmerman – and demonize Trayvon Martin - Fox News guest Doug Burns raised the suggestion – in all seriousness – that Martin could have used his Skittles and/or iced tea as a lethal weapon that justified Zimmerman fatally shooting him.
