Fox News and Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo spent nearly six minutes helping Governor Pat McCrory (R-NC) fight his tough reelection battle and pushing controversies over his state’s “bathroom bill” and racist voter suppression efforts down a GOP memory hole.

Apparently, Fox News thought it would get a GOP twofer yesterday when the network presented Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi as an honest, straight shooter who argued that the latest development in the Hillary Clinton email saga disqualified her to be president. What Fox didn’t tell its viewers is that Trump-supporter Bondi is under quite the ethics cloud for having taken a $25,000 donation from the Trump foundation right before she decided not to investigate Trump University for fraud.

Megyn Kelly did her part for the Fox News effort to squeeze every bit of political hay out of the FBI’s latest review of email related to Hillary Clinton. But rather than come out and baselessly suggest Clinton may go to jail, Kelly told us that her kids did so.

Despite the fact that we have no idea what is in the new batch of Hillary Clinton-related emails being reviewed by the FBI, Sean Hannity and Rudy Giuliani didn’t even bother to contain their glee over all the possible jail terms they can’t wait to see her serve.

Megyn Kelly went a bit rogue again last night when she hosted liberal documentarian Michael Moore for what was mostly a friendly, unbiased interview about his new anti-Trump movie, TrumpLand, that the Trump campaign has touted as pro-Trump.

It’s hard to imagine a better mockery of Fox News’ Jesse Watters and his Watters World segments than this ambush interview, complete with snarky jokes about Watters' racism and his trademark stupid movie clips and sound effects edited in to make a subject look more foolish.

Conspiracy theorist extraordinaire and Fox News contributor Monica Crowley told an anti-Clinton/Obama whopper Wednesday night. And then she had the nerve to whine about the need for a “fair, objective press that’s only interested in the truth.”

It’s hard to imagine how anyone, much less a Washington Post pundit, could go on The O’Reilly Factor and fail so completely when asked to explain why she thinks Bill O'Reilly has a pro-Trump bias. But Rubin not only blew her attempt, she wound up making O’Reilly look like the objective one.
