It’s hard to imagine a better mockery of Fox News’ Jesse Watters and his Watters World segments than this ambush interview, complete with snarky jokes about Watters' racism and his trademark stupid movie clips and sound effects edited in to make a subject look more foolish.

Selvig confronted Watters on the streets of New York, much as Watters ambushes his subjects. “You know, I’ve always wanted to be a hilarious news reporter, just like Jesse Watters,” Selvig said beforehand. “So today I’m going to pitch him segment ideas I think he’ll really like.”

Selvig’s frame of reference was Watters’ recent visit to Chinatown that offended everyone except Watters and his boss, Bill O’Reilly. Watters called it “light” and “tongue-in-cheek” and O’Reilly called it “gentle fun.”

So Selvig pitched Watters some ideas in the same vein: “Just a bunch of black people eating fried chicken. That’s funny!” and “Oh, like, just call like all Muslims terrorists. I guess you guys already kind of do that.”

You could call it a Watters World Watters World!
