Hannity Again Disingenuously Suggests Obama Is A Muslim
Sean Hannity likes to say he believes President Obama is a Christian but Hannity loves to suggest Obama is a Muslim. In fact, in a recent Playboy interview, Hannity again denied promoting the myth – at the same time that he helped perpetuate it. So last night, in a segment that purported to be about President Obama’s speech in Northern Ireland, Hannity twisted Obama’s words about overcoming divisions between Catholics and Protestants into some kind of innuendo that Obama is hostile to Catholic and Protestant schools because he favors Muslim ones.

On yesterday’s Your World, Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-MD) spoke with Neil Cavuto about two straight days of big losses on Wall Street. Cavuto “asked” Hoyer, “Do you think the President bears any blame? In that all of these scandals, whether of his own doing or the White House’s doing and I guess the investigations, we’ll get to the bottom of each and all, that it’s cast a pall. …They’re each their own cases, I grant you, but it does sort of frustrate Americans who think that at the very least he’s out to lunch and at worst he’s behind this?”

Sean Hannity's pal, Bill Cunningham - a regular guest who loves to use Barack Obama's middle name (and insinuates that it's related to his supposedly lax war on terror) - may have finally gone too far last night. This time, Cunningham exploded at Fox News contributor (and Hannity admirer), liberal Tamara Holder, telling her to "know your place and shut your mouth." And more.

Read moreFox News Flashback: Hannity Called Kurtz A 'Nitwit' Who's 'Full Of Crap'
I've already posted about the bizarre - and probably not long-lasting - pairing of Howard Kurtz and Fox News. But here's at least one person at Fox who was likely not happy to discover the name of his latest colleague: Sean Hannity. To say he's not a fan would be an understatement.
Read moreMegyn Kelly Advances Conspiracy Theory: Democrats Behind Michael Hastings Death!
Forget the "lone gunman" and how, according to Sean Hannity, Hillary Clinton could have rubbed out Vince Foster. Fox News - yeah, I'm talking their official "fair & balanced" so called news - is promoting a new conspiracy about the death of journalist Michael Hastings who was tragically killed, earlier this week, in a car crash. Sounds pretty straightforward, right? Not so for conspiracy theorists whose latest speculation is being spread on Fox. While the theory presented is nowhere near as elaborate as Glen Beck's or Michele Bachmann's paranoid anti-government ravings, it does seem to suggest that there is no depth to which Fox "News" will not go in order to implicate the Obama administration in dirty deeds. Yes, gentle readers, it appears that either "Democrats" or, more insidiously, Pres. Obama himself could be behind Hastings death because Megyn Kelly tells us that "some are asking if there's more to his death than meets the eye." And that, as said in Plan 9 From Outer Space, "proves it!"
Read moreDeMint And The Heritage Foundation: We Know Better Than The CBO About The Cost Of The Immigration Bill
Heritage Foundation President Jim DeMint was on Your World yesterday to dispute a CBO study saying the immigration bill will reduce the deficit by $197 billion over the next decade, and $700 billion in the second decade of the law. Host Neil Cavuto made no effort to investigate the claim (and possibly antagonize Fox pal DeMint). Instead, Cavuto treated the issue like a he said/she said.
Read moreMegyn Kelly Distorts Professor's Abortion Comment To Defend House Anti-Abortion Bill!
Despite the fact that the last two years have seen a record number of abortion restrictions, Megyn Kelly scoffs at the idea that there is a "war on women" led by a party that wants government off your back but has no problem inserting itself into your uterus The latest assault on abortion rights was a futile but symbolic passage of a 22 week abortion ban by the US House. Obviously, this legislation is important to Fox News because their big gun, Bill O'Reilly, actually twisted the commentary of an African-American professor in order to accuse her of racial bias towards those who support the House bill. The problem with his message is that Dr. Salamishah Tillet didn't impugn anybody but merely suggested that anti-choice laws might be a white response to a growing minority population. The House bill wasn't the focus of the discussion but O'Reilly made it so. But Bill was able to advance pro-life victimization with his distortion. And today, the same lie and myth of pro-life victimhood was pushed by alleged "news" host Megyn Kelly who used the comment to push anti-choice propaganda in validating the House bill. "Fair & balanced?"
Read moreBill O'Reilly's Attack On Melissa Harris-Perry's Show Is Another Propaganda Driven Lie?
It is apparent that Bill O'Reilly is not a fan of the Melissa Harris-Perry show. Perhaps it's because she is a well educated, pro-choice minority woman professor or that she deals with the kind of base bigotry that O'Reilly traffics in; but O'Reilly has her in his sights such as when he selectively edited her comments to make her look unpatriotic. Last night, he went even further when he attacked one of the show's guests to make Professor Salamishah Tillet (another *educated pro-choice minority woman professor) look like a racist by lying about what she said - even after playing her quote. I don't know if O'Reilly feels the need to set up a bogus straw man with which to bash those who don't agree with him, or if he really believes that Prof. Tillet said what she clearly did not say. What is clear is that during his hit piece he also said something that, once again, shows that Bill, as his nemesis Sen. Al Franken astutely noted, pulls facts from his ass! (ewww)
