Megyn Kelly Prods Sen. Mitch McConnell To Impeach President Obama
Megyn Kelly has gone from showcasing guests who want to impeach President Obama to blatantly advocating for it. And not just to any guest but to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.
Read moreDr. Ben Carson Allowed To Spread Misinformation About ObamaCare As ‘Most Massive Tax Increase’ Evah!
On Your World, Fox News’ supposed business show, Fox News contributor Dr. Ben Carson described the Affordable Care Act (“ObamaCare”) as “the most massive tax increase in the history of America, probably the history of the world, and it’s all being done under the covers.” The only problem? It’s not true. But host Neil Cavuto did not correct the falsehood. In fact, he seemed to approve of it.
Read moreOn Fox & Friends: John Stossel Attacks Poor, Single Mothers
While Fox News, as the mouthpiece for the radical misogynist right, claim that there is no war on women, the commentary on the network for real men would seem to indicate otherwise. For example, Fox's "libertarian" John Stossel seems to have some issue when it comes to women as shown by his rant about how, because women are hypochondriacs, there should be no gender equality in health care. In a segment on last week's Fox & Friends (1/9), he promoted the right wing meme that poor, single women are really, really stupid because they allow themselves to be lured by the siren song of government "handouts" which we all know are so lucrative! So rather than address the greed and criminal excesses of Wall Street and corporate America, Stossel chose to beat up on poor, single women on "welfare" - a word that acts as a loud and penetrating racist dog whistle to Fox's "real" American audience.

Roger Ailes doesn't just run Fox News as a political enterprise. He tried to do the same thing in his weekend community of Garrison, New York. Unfortunately for him, it didn't work out quite so well.
Read moreOutrageous Quote Of The Week – 1/5/14-1/11/13
Boy, oh, boy, the new year certainly seemed to bring out the outrageousness on Fox News! This week, we’ve got a “stellar” lineup for our readers to consider. As you might expect, this week's selection includes some crazy talk about the Chris Christie scandal, but we’ve also got attacks on our social safety nets, an emphatic thumbs up for income inequality (yes, you read that right) and a ridiculous suggestion that Obama hates nuns. Plus a doozy from none other than Roger Ailes! And that's not all...

Read moreFox Guest: Income inequality isn’t a problem, it’s actually a virtue
On yesterday’s Cashin’ In, host Eric Bolling and regular guest Michelle Fields started off a discussion of President Obama's focus on income inequality by sneering and making fun of it and him. But regular guest Jonathan Hoenig took the nastiness to a whole new level when he praised income inequality as “a virtue.”
Read moreBill O'Reilly's Alleged Abusive Behavior Reflected In 'Tip Of The Day?'
Bill O'Reilly's deep thoughts, otherwise known as Tips of the Day, not only demonstrate Bill's hubristic hypocrisy; but they also reflect the cognitive dissonance between his advice and how he comports himself. At best, they show a lack of self-awareness; at worst, denial of reality. But as is said about the accuracy of stopped clocks, O'Reilly sometimes gets it right. On January 8th, he opened his advice segment with video of Dennis Rodman's rendition of Happy Birthday to the Korean Supreme Leader. He ended this comment: "If you do foolish things, it will always come back to haunt you." LOL, spoken like a guy who was involved in a sexual harassment suit and, according to Gabriel Sherman's new book about Roger Ailes, an incident where he bullied a Fox News staffer so brutally that she thought that he was going to assault her. Ah, good times
Read moreAnother Bill O'Reilly Fact Refuted By Reality
During a contentious discussion (1/6) about marijuana legalization, with Mary Katharine Ham (whom he accused of "babbling") and Juan Williams, Bill O'Reilly, as Sen. Al Franken characterized it, pulled facts from his ass. He claimed that getting arrested for pot possession was no big deal because all it entailed was a "ticket" and that there are no "mass arrests" of pot users. Once again, O'Reilly, a "marijuana truther," is full o'crap. Forbes magazine, hardly a "liberal loon" publication, rebutted O'Reilly's assertion with actual data.
