I don't know if the pals did a follow-up; but it was later revealed that the driver's story, about being attacked by black teens, was bogus and that the driver shot and stabbed himself. Today, another story of divine intervention during the recent FSU shooting, was told, in very credulous tones, on America's Newsroom which is supposed to be a real newsroom. Nuff said.
