Greg Gutfeld: Environmentalism Leads To Mass Murder
Greg Gutfeld's recent rant that portrayed environmentalists as rich sociopaths willing to kill poor people by the truckload may have outdone Bill O'Reilly's slander of the late Dr. Tiller as a "baby killer." And, after accusing the green movement of murder in order to enforce its elitist agenda, Gutfeld "joked" that "these creeps" should be hung "by their toenails." Oh my God… Do I ever wish I was kidding.

Bill O’Reilly was more restrained than some of his Fox News colleagues yesterday in racializing a discussion of the Christopher Lane shooting in Oklahoma. However, instead of focusing on his usual targets, the “race hustlers” and “grievance industry,” i.e. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, he focused on “cultural collapse among some very distinct groups.” I think we can guess which “distinct groups” he had in mind. But guest Kate Obenshain took it a step further by using the occasion to accuse President Obama of deliberately being racially divisive. This, from the woman who was chief of staff for George “Macaca” Allen. However, Fox News Democrat Kirsten Powers was in top form and took on both the host and her fellow guest with the kind of aplomb other liberal guests could stand to emulate.

Fox News had quite a race-baiting day yesterday covering the horrific killing of Australian Christopher Lane, allegedly by three teenagers, out of boredom. In the hour before they turned to bigot Pat Buchanan to race bait discuss the killing and after Fox & Friends wrongly claimed that all three of the alleged perpetrators were black and after Fox Nation used the case to racially smear President Obama, the Hannity show turned to another bigot, Mark Fuhrman, for his “insights” into the matter.

Although even Greta Van Susteren acknowledged that there’s no reason to think that race played any role in the shocking shooting death of Australian student Christopher Lane in Oklahoma by three teenagers who said they did it out of boredom, Van Susteren brought on noted bigot Pat Buchanan to discuss the case and make insinuations about question why President Obama has not spoken out about Lane’s death despite speaking out about Trayvon Martin's death.

As Priscilla has posted, Fox & Friends wasted no time racializing the shooting death of an Australian teenager in Oklahoma to smear African Americans, in general. Fox Nation followed suit, with a blaring headline that suggested President Obama and Al Sharpton gave the alleged murderers a pass because they are black - even though there was nothing to suggest race had anything to do with the crime. But Fox News' crackpot psychiatrist, Dr. Keith Ablow, came up with the most - uh, creative - politicization of all: blaming abortion for the crime.

Fox Nation boasts about how much it loves America but it's hard to imagine that it had any other purpose than in smearing the black portion of it, including our president, when it put the story about a murdered Australian teenager in Oklahoma front and center with the headline, "Murdered for Sport: Where Are Sharpton and Obama in Oklahoma Thrill Kill?"

Trayvon Martin's death has brought attention to racial inequities on a national scale. Rather than confront the reality of being black in America, the racist right wing now claims that any discussion of racial issues is racist. Moreover, they are seizing on any incident, in which black males have engaged in criminal behavior towards whites, to say that these assaults are motivated by black racist hatred. They demand that black leaders address these supposed hate crimes which can't, under any circumstances, be compared to a killing that is part of a long tradition of whites profiling and killing blacks because of racist hatred. Recently, in Oklahoma, a white man was allegedly killed by a mixed race group of teens. The racist right wing (including Fox's Todd Starnes) is racializing the incident and asking if the President, who, I guess is responsible for the behavior of the entire African-American community, will speak out about this heinous act which doesn't appear to be a hate crime. Predictably, Fox & Friends stoked the flames of white, racial resentment in claiming that all three shooters are black when one is Hispanic and the other white. But this is a Fox "opinion" show so it's all good...

As FoxNews.com reported yesterday, "Nearly three dozen members of the 1972 Miami Dolphins finally received their White House moment Tuesday, 40 years after they made history by winning 17 games and losing none -- an undefeated NFL feat that still stands today." Although "at least three" invited players chose not to attend due to "political differences," according to FoxNews.com, the article closes with quotes from quarterback Bob Griese and offensive lineman Larry Little talking about what a great time was had by all who attended. But how did those "America lovers" at Fox Nation cover it? With a headline suggesting the entire team had snubbed President Obama. (H/T Christopher S.)

Another O’Reilly Factor, another round of whitesplaining to an African American about racial profiling. In this case, the African American was the father of the late Hadiya Pendleton. You may recall that Hadiya was the 15 year-old honors student who was shot and killed in Chicago days after performing in President Obama’s 2013 inauguration ceremony. As in other instances, I believe O’Reilly meant well but…
Read moreAllen West: Calling Health Care A Right Makes Obama A Threat To America!
Former Congressman Allen West visited On The Record last night where he insisted that making health care and/or health insurance a right is a threat to America “as a constitutional republic.” It was hard to understand what, exactly, is so dangerous about it, other than that it “could” lead to something nefarious. Not that “liberal” host Greta Van Susteren challenged the logic. She did mildly challenge his language but seemed OK with it once he clarified that he didn’t mean Obama is “a very dangerous threat to the existence of America” but to “America as a constitutional republic.” Ohhhh, OK.
