Huckabee Blasts Cruz And The Intransigent Republicans Over Government Shutdown

Posted by Ellen · October 06, 2013 10:51 PM · 8 reactions

Mike Huckabee is about as conservative as they come. But as a former governor of Arkansas, he knows a thing or two about governing and he blasted the intransigent Republicans who are holding the U.S. economy hostage – along with their enabling talk show hosts, such as Sean Hannity - with both barrels this weekend.

Stephen Colbert Mocks Fox News' 'Government Slimdown'

Posted by Ellen · October 06, 2013 5:38 PM · 3 reactions

As of last night, FoxNews.com was still calling the government shutdown a "slimdown." But today, after FNC's new media critic, Howard Kurtz, criticized it - again - they seem to be back to the "shutdown" word. But not before Stephen Colbert had a chance to give them the comedic spanking they deserve!

Bill O'Reilly: Brown U. Students Took On Jesse Watters Because They're 'Scared' Of Him

Posted by Priscilla · October 06, 2013 3:36 PM · 8 reactions

Bill O'Reilly's devout Catholicism doesn't seem to get in the way of his fascination with anything that could have a sexual connotation. As such, he sends out his stalker producer, Jesse Watters, to seek out stories that involve the sexy even when the topic has nothing to do with anything prurient, such as when Watters stalked nudists under the pretense of interviewing them about politics. The videos afford O'Reilly and Watters the opportunity to giggle like a couple of jr. high school boys who have discovered their father's Playboy's. Watters recently stalked Brown University students about a campus event that “discusses and explores nudity in all forms." Brown students, who have been the target of Watters' and O'Reilly's mocking and exploitation in the past, pushed back with a video of their own. Because the video is critical of Watters, O'Reilly used the opportunity to further attack the students and in so doing, validate their talking points including their appropriate description of Watters as a "creepy, ambushing, stalker lunatic."

Fox’s Kooiman Reports Fake Story About Obama Funding A Muslim Museum

Posted by Ellen · October 06, 2013 8:30 AM · 9 reactions

Fox News and host Anna Kooiman were so eager to promote a report that President Obama is funding a Muslim museum – despite closing the World War II Memorial – that they couldn’t be bothered to do any fact checking.  Otherwise, they might have discovered that it was a fake story from a parody news site.

Fox News Mailbag - 10/6/13 Edition

Posted by Ellen · October 06, 2013 1:19 AM · 5 reactions

It's been a few weeks since we've opened our mailbag for our regular glimpse into the minds of Fox News viewers, at least the ones who write us in the apparent belief that we are their favorite "fair and balanced" network. The reason for the moratorium was because the trickle had dried up. But, judging from the latest collection, I don't think it's because their viewers have gotten smarter.

Bill O'Reilly Wins Our Outrageous Quote Of The Week Poll

Posted by Ellen · October 06, 2013 12:35 AM · 1 reaction

Bill O'Reilly was the clear winner of our Outrageous Quote of the Week poll last week. His winning entry was, "Things are obviously out of control and the Democratic party is primarily to blame. Simply put, President Obama and his acolytes do not want Americans to accumulate wealth. They want to take private wealth away from those who have it and give it to those who don’t have it. And they have succeeded in doing that with an assist from the Bush administration, which ran up colossal debt after 9/11."

Republican Senator Mike Lee Calls Government Shutdown ‘Heroic’

Posted by Brian · October 05, 2013 6:18 PM · 1 reaction

It’s one thing to support the government shutdown and it’s another to cheerlead it as “heroic." But that’s exactly how Tea Party Senator Mike Lee (R-UT), one of the shutdown advocates, described it on Fox News’ special “Shutdown” Cost of Freedom show today.

Neil Cavuto Whines That Liberal Media Treats Wendy Davis Better Than Ted Cruz

Posted by Priscilla · October 05, 2013 5:00 PM · 2 reactions

Fox News lives in a nearly apocalyptic world of cosmic dualism in which the godly Fox is constantly fighting the forces of darkness. Chief among those groups deemed anathema is the media which, according to the "fair & balanced" Fox, is constantly bombarding Americans with evil, liberal, and very biased propaganda. Last week, Neil Cavuto treated his viewers to an epic hissy fit about how, according to Neil, the liberal media wasn't treating US Senator Ted Cruz's filbustery thing with the same respect that they gave to the real filibuster done by Texas State Senator, Wendy Davis who, in the godly right wing, is the very spawn of Satan. Never mind the reality that there were major differences between the two political maneuvers. But whatever. Grab some cheese because you are about to be treated to a big glass of Neil Cavuto whine.

Does Brian Kilmeade Think All Latinas Grow Up Eating Tacos?

Posted by Ellen · October 04, 2013 11:52 PM · 10 reactions

Brian Kilmeade revealed his ignorance this morning when he assumed that Fox News meteorologist, Maria Molina, “grew up on tacos,” apparently because she’s Hispanic. In fact, as Molina advised him, she’s Nicaraguan, though Raw Story says she grew up in Florida. Tacos, however, are Mexican.
