Republican Senator Mike Lee Calls Government Shutdown ‘Heroic’

Posted by Brian -34pc on October 05, 2013 · Flag

It’s one thing to support the government shutdown and it’s another to cheerlead it as “heroic." But that’s exactly how Tea Party Senator Mike Lee (R-UT), one of the shutdown advocates, described it on Fox News’ special “Shutdown” Cost of Freedom show today.

Here’s what Lee said, pretending he’s just looking out for Americans:

We do have a very united House Republican caucus. We’ve got John Boehner and Eric Cantor acting heroically in order to protect the American people from the harmful effects of Obamacare.

So stopping the uninsured from getting health care is acting heroically in the eyes of Sen. Lee? He doesn’t know what a hero is. A hero saves lives and protects us from harm; like a cop or firefighter or military personnel or good Samaritans.

One of these days, Orange Boner will reclaim his man parts from the teabaggers. Then we can have a CR and a workable government.
