Here’s an odd bit of political theater for you to mull over. Bill O’Reilly chose John Boehner as his “Pinhead of the Week” last night. O'Reilly said, “I believe that John Boehner is secretly a Democrat. I think is he a quisling. Because he never says what you need to say.”

Geraldo Rivera accused Bill O’Reilly of not being respectful enough to President Obama during his Super Bowl interview. The two hosts had an impassioned argument over the matter last night. But at the same time, Rivera suggested that O’Reilly was Obama’s equal on the national stage.

Ted Nugent is the kind of extremist hate monger who makes Glenn Beck look thoughtful and reasonable. But hey, The Nuge suggests he’d like to kill Democrats so, apparently, that makes him A-OK by Fox News’ lights. During an interview tonight, Bill O’Reilly didn’t even mention Nugent’s birtherism, his race-baiting, suggestions he’d like to kill Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton. No, O’Reilly wanted to know what Nugent thinks of rap music, legalized marijuana and an encounter with Paul McCartney.

Just a few minutes after Bill O’Reilly bellowed orders at a U.S. Congressman to uncover presidential dirt – so far non-existent - about Benghazi, he whined about MSNBC focusing too much on Chris Christie “even though there’s nothing really new.” Could the double standard be any more blatant and brazen?

If you're looking for surreal, look no further than any Bill O'Reilly segment featuring a Jesse Watters "Watters World" video. Some of this fine investigative journalism features Watters harassing people with whom Bill has an ax to grind. Some push bogus O'Reilly memes (Brown U students are moral degenerates). Many feature Watters oogling scantily clad women with ample cleavage and engaging in sexual innuendo. In all, Watters selectively edits commentary in order to make his subjects look stupid while his attempts to get positive Factor feedback serve to further inflate O'Reilly's already oversized ego. The latest Watters World was a compilation of interviews done at recent NY parties - Super Bowl, Howard Stern's birthday and, for oogling purposes, the Playboy Party. Fun stuff. We learned that Watters is a sex god and were, once again, reminded that ladies man O'Reilly doesn't like it when his advances are spurned. Never mind surreal - how bout ewww? 

I haven’t had the chance to write about Fox’s mischaracterization of the CBO report on the effect of ObamaCare and jobs. But now The Daily Show has done it so we don’t have to! Check out “Terror on Bulls#%it Mountain!”

As the mouthpiece for the Christian right, who fear and loathe transgender identity more than they do homosexuality, Fox News was front and center in promoting Christian right hysteria over a new California law which affords protections to transgender public school students. Much of the fear mongering centered on how this would impact bathroom etiquette. As its source for transgender bias, Fox utilizes the services of its medical "A Team" member, Dr. Keith Ablow whose history of  anti-transgender commentary has raised serious questions about his professional ethics or lack thereof. A recent Ablow article, praised by a hate group representative, underscores why there are still questions.

Neil Cavuto passed off anti-Obamacare activist Kristin Held as a non-partisan healthcare expert on Your World this week. Not only did he fail to disclose her agenda or her history, he even introduced her by saying, “You have no political axe to grind here.”

In case there’s any doubt that Fox News operates as an arm of the Republican Party, watch Bill O’Reilly demand that Republicans subpoena Leon Panetta to testify about Benghazi. And watch how Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), instead of telling O’Reilly to mind his own business, nods like an underling getting orders from his boss.

Not since Megyn Kelly “assured” us that Santa is white, has she looked as foolish and biased as she did tonight arguing with Democrat Adam Schiff over Benghazi. She sounded almost hysterical as she demanded to know why President Obama called the attack on the American compound in Benghazi an “act of terror” and not a “terrorist attack.” Fortunately, Schiff nicely called out and smacked down her ridiculousness.
