Fox Attacks Michelle Obama For Getting Downton Abbey Early
Bill O'Reilly Lies About HHS Birth Control Mandate?
Bill O'Reilly once claimed that he's "very rarely wrong." But he does, as he admits, make mistakes. But given that he seems to be attuned to the issues, one wonders if some of his "mistakes" are deliberate lies meant to misinform and inflame his right wing viewers, many of whom are, presumably, conservative Catholics. Such was the case during his recent rant about the demise of "traditional" America when he referenced Catholic vote in the recent election. He said that "Despite the President's controversial insistence that some Catholic entities provide birth control and after pills, Catholics supported Obama 50 percent to 48 percent down from 2008 but still a surprise to some." While his stats were correct, the first part of the statement is either a mistake or a lie.

In his recent screed about how the "left is bent on destroying traditional America," Bill O'Reilly claims that the "secular progressives have created a mythical 'war on women' screaming that so-called reproductive rights are under assault." Truth is that despite Bill's contention that we silly gals are having a fit of the vapors, the war on women is very real. As I have frequently noted, in the past two years there have been an unprecedented number of anti-choice measures, brought by the GOP, that have been proposed and enacted. And the war continues. As Jon Stewart said about Bill O'Reilly, he's "full of shit." I present as prima facie evidence, the following...

Glenn Beck might be gone from Fox News; but his borderline white supremacist views and paranoia are being kept alive, on the "fair & balanced" network, by Bill O'Reilly whose "vaguely racist spew" on election night included the comment that the *"white establishment is the minority." This was followed by the assertion that those who voted for Obama did so because they "want things." While Bill claimed that he wasn't targeting any "ethnic group," there were some that heard the vaguely racist dog whistle, such as the posters on the white power website, Stormfront, who gave kudos to Bill for his incisive analysis. Nice to see Bill expanding his fan base.

Neil Cavuto sounded a lot like Mitt Romney redux a few days ago as he argued with Dennis Van Roekel, president of the National Education Association after his meeting with President Obama about the approaching “fiscal cliff.” Cavuto made it clear he thinks the rich are getting hosed by the 47% of Americans who pay no income taxes and that what’s really fair is to cut their services so as not to impose upon the Deserving Ones even more.
Read moreTMI? Dennis Miller's Victoria's Secret Fetish!
Dennis Miller provides Bill O'Reilly's audience with weekly snarlfests during which the washed up comedian opines on all sorts of stuff. Last night, O'Reilly asked Miller about the Chick fil-A controversy. That it is old news was no problem for Miller who seemed to think that the reaction of the LGBT community to the homophobia of Chick fil-A's president was silly and indicative of "what's happening in America." He sneerinly proclaimed that if wants to go to "lunch and munch of piece of clucker, I gotta wonder if the guy in the front office is a breast man or let's say a wingman." Ewww, I know. But the ewww factor got even worse when the conversation turned to how Dennis Miller selects his wife's lingerie.
