Fox 'Mole' Dishes Fox News Hucksterism!

Posted by Priscilla -25.80pc on November 15, 2012 · Flag

Check out Joe Muto's latest dish about Fox News. He talks about how those at Fox News know that it's "kind of a farce" and all about "selling a product" that increases ratings. He also mentions a couple of Foxies who, he thinks, might be just playing a role. His analysis of Hannity and O'Reilly, regarding who is the real "hack" is interesting. Video available at HuffPost.

The Huffington Post piece has the link to the full video of Abby Huntsman's discussion.

I agree with other commenters that lately O’Reilly has seemed a lot more partisan.

His election coverage was especially slanted when, for the vast majority of the time, he only featured pollsters and pundits from the conservative side.

Allowing Juan Williams to say a few words each weeks hardly counts. And when Allan Colmes starts to make a point, O’Reilly frequently cuts him off.

Adding Adam Corolla only contributes to more misogyny and Obama bashing as if Dennis Miller wasn’t enough.

The culture warriors are two far right conservatives.

Finally, he has started bringing Bob Beckel on for a once weekly appearance. But BillO primarily uses Beckel as a chance to further denigrate the Left.

@Gas Guzzler12: He’s more extreme than he’s ever been since 2010. I always thought O’Reilly had some objectivity years ago, and the Obama team must have thought the same to give him two interviews.

True. BOR once wrote an article for Parade titled “What President Obama Can Teach America’s Kids.” {This was during the rightwingnut freakout over the President’s address to schoolchildren.}

I think at the time, the President’s story — coming from a single-parent household raised by his grandparents, spending a part of his childhood in one of the world’s poorest countries, going on to become president of the Harvard Law Review, a Senator, and US President — appealed to the Horatio Alger, pull-yourself-up-by-your-own-bootstraps crowd, like O’Reilly.

But O’Reilly was probably thinking that, Obama’s story nonetheless, the American Electorate would be “smart” enough to put a white man back in charge the second time around . . . when that didn’t happen, BillO full-on embraced his inner Glenn Beck . . .

Fux Noise is a fraud. A GOPiggie propaganda machine posing as a news organization. Why our President continues to allow them in the White House press corps is beyond me. Fortunately, the Fux Noise core target audience——angry old white men——is diminishing rapidly in numbers and influence.

When your boss is a phone-hacking, police & political bribing media despot who was made a US citizen so he could gobble up US TV it follows that his ‘product’ is corruption spewed from the mouths of Mephistophelean hacks.
