While the vast majority of crime takes place within ethnic groups, Fox News seizes upon any example of black on white crime to promote a bogus, racist meme that white America is being threatened by black criminal thugs. But Todd Starnes has the answer for fearful white America - "lock and load."
While white people do commit crimes of violence (think Texas bikers) Starnes ignores that inconvenient truth in order to push the scary black man thing that Fox News is so fond of. And speaking of truth, Starnes doesn't let that get in the way of a good blacks-are-thugs story. But Starnes isn't alone. He shares his paranoia with other like minded folks like the neo-Nazi "Stormfront" which also featured a bullshit black crime story that Starnes pimped.
Starnes latest article on Fox Nation is about a white man who "was beaten to death by a pair of predators" in Jackson, Mississippi. (Todd has no use for the word "allegedly" when it comes to dark skinned "predators.") Starnes uses this incident to whine that the "mainstream media" ignores black on white crime" and that, for Democrats, only black lives matter.
Starnes showed data on black on white crime and, OMG, reported that "it's getting worse." His solution - "I say, I say lock and load, America. It's for such a time as this that our Founding Fathers saw fit to write the Second Amendment. You never know when you and your family might set upon by predators lurking outside a Waffle House."
So is Todd Starnes, a Jesus loving real American, inciting violence towards blacks? I report, you decide.
And BTW, the comments on the Fox Nation article are as racist as you might assume they are.
No sane person would ever utter this sentence with any amount of seriousness.
I’d also add that if the founding fathers could’ve foreseen times like this, I’m pretty sure they would’ve surrendered to the British.
