Eric Bolling Proves His Patriotism To Facebook And Twitter Fans?

Posted by Priscilla -26.60pc on September 29, 2014 · Flag

Along with being "as Christian as they come," Eric Bolling just can't be any more patriotic. Even though he never served in the military, Bolling loves the red, white and blue which he proudly sports, in the form of a great, big flag pin, on his lapel. And because Bolling is such a great patriot, one suspects that he wasn't happy with Jon Stewart's evisceration of his patriotism. Though he didn't directly address Stewart's critique, he, as reported by our Brian, subsequently attacked Stewart as a "liberal loon." He also posted something on his Facebook and Twitter which, while not mentioning Stewart, just might have been an attempt to prove that, despite Stewart, he is a true American patriot who, literally, is willing to defend the flag - in this case, his very own flag.

Bolling is claiming that the flag, which flies outside his million dollar summer home in Long Beach, New Jersey is in violation of the town ordinance. In perusing the town code, I couldn't find anything related to flags other than a limit on the height of the flagpole. In fact, the code seems to say that flags are exempt from code restriction. But obviously there could be something I am not aware of.

So is Bolling telling the truth about bravely flying the flag in spite of local opposition? It does beg the question given the timing of the posting. Go figure!

One thing is for sure, his posting generated lots of comments from folks who applauded him on his patriotism and that must have made him feel vindicated! He got in the last word, so it all ended happily ever after?

From Lakeview Greg’s comment:

“Why couldn’t he just get a big fast car like all the other dudes with “size” issues?”

Because that would only prove that Eric Bolling is NOTHING BUT A BIG D**K!

Did a little checking and it seems that good old Bolling was old enough to have served in the “Gulf War” (where we were misled into “liberating” Kuwait)—but he had the misfortune of having a rotator cuff injury which derailed his oh-so-promising baseball career and probably wouldn’t have let him serve in the military. Of course, he could have joined the military after college but that would never do for a young conservative in the making—not during the Reagan era.

“My flag is so big, it violates local ordinance.”

Can I nominate him for Fool of the Week because he was dumb enough to admit that?

Oops – my comment was intended to go on another post. Sorry about that.

I watch a lot of Colbert, Stewart and Maher and I don’t recall them attacking Bolling for wanting to “spend more money on the troops.” I do seem to remember something about Stewart going after some GOP Congress members for being against an increase in VA spending to help Vets.

If Colbert, Stewart and Maher really did attack him for his wanting to “spend more money on the troops”, I would like Bolling to prove it by pulling the video clips of their attacks. He can air them on “The Five”. And, no doubt if asked to prove whether he actually did ask for more troop pay, Bolling will spin it as being about how he was against defense budget cuts or something like that.

One thing was clear though, Bolling was definitely intent on doing some deflecting with his remarks. SQUIRREL! He didn’t even have the balls to directly take on what Stewart said. It would be great if Bolling quit these unrelated attacks SQUIRREL! on the 3 comedians and his apples to oranges comparison of military pay vs. minimum wage SQUIRREL! and, instead, had the guts to admit that his views (with regards to patriotism and respect) really do differ wildly depending on who is in the White House. Btw, his twitter about how he flies an American flag SQUIRREL! and just how big his flag is (compensation for having a little penis, er, for having little public respect for the Office for the President?) are nothing more than another lame ass attempt to distract away from the completely valid argument put forth by Stewart.

I don’t really care where Bully Boy Bolling lives. However, it’s a safe bet that he lives in a gated community. If he lives in a gated community, then he belongs to a Home Owners Association. If he belongs to a Homeowners Association then this is probably a HOA rule. If he belongs to a Home Owners Association he needs to abide by the rules.

People get all “First Amendment” & “Freedom” [the name of Bolling’s dog, BTW] and forget that when they joined the HOA, they signed away all their rights. You’re in a Communistic system now. It’s all for the grater good of the collective.

BTW: A little something I once wrote for the Not Now Silly Newsroom:

Homeowners’ Associations Invented To Discriminate ► History Is Complicated http://notnowsilly.blogspot.com/2013/05/homeowners-associations-invented-to.html

With all my love,
Uncle Headly
