First it was Miss Kansas who declined Bill O'Reilly's invitation to appear on his show. Then it was Chris Christie who had the temerity to refuse to "submit" to an O'Reilly interview. And now it looks like somebody else has made it to O'Reilly's Christmas naughty list and it's none other than his fellow Christmas warrior, Sarah Palin herself. Last week, Bill told Howard Kurtz that Palin, who would have had Kurtz's timeslot, had rebuffed the great and powerful O'Reilly.
O'Reilly pontificated: “Sarah Palin won’t do this program. She won’t come on the program because she doesn’t want to mix it up. She doesn’t. She wants to give a speech, and nobody gives speeches here. We invited her on tonight. You’re here in her stead. But I don’t begrudge Sarah Palin that. She can come on. She doesn’t come on; she does come on; whatever she wants to do. Okay? Fine."
Awww.....
Here is the best explanation for her debt=slavery comment that I’ve read so far. I think it is spot on!
