Now that Bill O'Reilly doesn't have Dr. Tiller to kick around any more, that doesn't mean that he's backing down from his nationally televised anti-abortion jihad which includes impugning the motives of women who have late term abortions. As he did during his attacks on Dr. Tiller, O'Reilly continues to infer that women who have late term abortions are just a bunch of slutty, stupid, and selfish sluts who "murder" their "babies" for any reason or no reason. Rather than trusting women, O'Reilly thinks that we have late term abortions, not because of a serious health or life impairing condition, but because we're having a bad hair day. I don't know if Bill's absolute misogyny stems from his wife having dumped him and married another guy; but it's clear that Bill has a problem with women, especially those who exercise their bodily autonomy which, in Bill's "traditionalist" Catholic world, is a great big sin - and Torquemada Bill won't let us forget it!
The 2013 campaign started in January when Bill attacked NY Governor Andrew Cuomo's legislation which will expand late term abortion access to include health of the mother. For Bill, this is an open invitation for evil NY women to do what their slutty sisters did in Kansas where "for $5,000 you could go there for any reason at all, he would terminate in the third trimester."." (Bill is lying about "for any reason" because Tiller's abortion was done in accordance with Kansas law.)
In February, during a discussion with Bob Beckel, Bill cited late term abortion as a reason why America is "barbaric." In accusing those nasty bitches of putting themselves first, he cited the pro-choice mantra, "my body, my choice" and added "it's all about you." (Right, women who choose not to give birth to a child who will face a short and very medically compromised life are just so selfish!). During another segment that day, devoted to bashing Cuomo, Bill repeated his tired talking point about how, in Kansas, women had late term abortions "for any reason" - a talking point that underscores his belief that women can't be trusted to make serious decisions about a difficult medical procedure.
Bill's jihad against abortion spilled over into his articles. During February, in one of Bill's columns, he asked what fetuses would think about their cruel mother who would "execute" them because she "thinks she's the boss." In using, as an example, a pro-choice Salon writer who had an abortion, he asked "what gives her the right to determine that her life is better than the fetus she carries." (Uh, the Supreme Court?) As part of his ongoing Tiller obsession and general misogyny, he, again, insulted those women who had abortions, at Tiller's clinic, "for any reason." This week's article cited "unfettered abortion" as one of the things that the Catholic Church should be fighting harder against.
O'Reilly's war on women continued into March. During one of Bill's Talking Points he lamented that "women have all the rights" when it comes to casually "disposing" of their fetuses. For the sake of raw emotion, he (again) described late term abortions in medically inaccurate terms - the same terms used by male, anti-choice senators who argued for legislation prohibiting so called "partial birth abortion." And to top it all off for March (although March isn't over) Bill used his insane screed about the "war on Easter" to work in a reference to how those secular progressives, on behalf of all you slutty sluts, want abortion "for any reason." (I mean doesn't anyone who's having a stress relieving facial finish it off with a refreshing late term abortion?)
If Bill O'Reilly thinks he is looking out for women, he is seriously deluded. Why does Bill O'Reilly hate women?
Yeah….‘cause all those women in need of a “third trimester” abortion just happened to have $5000 laying around. Bill obviously thinks EVERYONE’s checking account is as plentiful as his.
I bet he’ll look real good in a jumper when what he has left goes.
