Outrageousness never takes a holiday on Fox News, as you will see in this week’s candidates for Outrageous Quote of the Week. “Neutral” host Megyn Kelly was nominated not once, not twice, but three times this week – on three different subjects. But we’ve also got some doozies from Bill O’Reilly, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Jeanine Pirro and more. Check ‘em out and cast your vote!
This week’s nominees are:
Megyn Kelly trashing Beyoncé: “The message, if you listen to the lyrics of many of her songs, I don’t know, can you say skanky? Is that all right?”
Linda Chavez, suggesting that the description of Michael Brown as "unarmed," is a liberal “mantra”: “We’re talking about an 18 year old man who is 6’4” and weighs almost 300 pounds who was videotaped just moments before the confrontation with the police officer, strong arming an employee and robbing a convenience store.”
Florida Christian Pastor Troy Schmidt, responding to the Freedom From Religion Foundation’s objections to school sponsored prayer: “It’s pretty clear that they cannot prohibit my free expression of my faith or the free expression of the coaches to express their faith.”
Bill O’Reilly, race expert: “When you compare the black family together in the 1960s, when Jim Crow laws were still in place to now – I mean, it’s like we’re in a time capsule going backwards. You don’t hear that. All you hear is grievance grievance, grievance. Money, money, money. Give me more money! I’ll solve it with money!”
“Neutral” Megyn Kelly yelling at a Democratic guest about Obama fundraising while working on an ISIS strategy: “It’s not just the optics! It’s the actual behavior! Get back and start governing! Americans could die! They could die in executing those strikes! If they are not effective they could die back here in an attack on the homeland or our interests elsewhere! What’s he doing?”
Megyn Kelly, somehow missing that CNN’s Jake Tapper did a whole segment on a rally for Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson: “Those who are speaking out on behalf of Officer Darren Wilson… held a rally this weekend but you probably did not see it because not a single camera from a national news organizations could show up for those supporting this officer.”
Kimberly Guilfoyle, showing just what kind of an America hater she is: “Can I just make a special request on the magic lamp? Can we get, like, Netanyahu and, like, Putin in for 48 hours, head of the United States? I don’t know. I just want somebody to get in here and get it done right so that Americans don’t have to worry and wake up in the morning fearful of a group that’s murderous and horrific, like ISIS.”
Jeanine Pirro, apparently forgetting her recent demand that Obama be impeached:
“…If you do not have as your goal the destruction of ISIS, if you do not have the determination, the desire, and the stamina, then you need to leave. I’m not talking about vacation.
You need to leave the White House. Remove yourself from the most powerful position on Earth. You are putting Americans on the wrong side of history, risking everything."
Charles Payne, smearing minimum wage workers on Labor Day weekend, “This is another form of this classic welfare utopia, running out of money. And the only source that’s left is the corporate balance sheet. That’s the only place they can go to keep this ruse going, this “fair society” where you don’t have to improve your skills, you don’t have to become a better person, we’ll give you the money. We’ll make sure you get paid something that you don’t deserve."
