Jeanine Pirro Demands Obama Resign. Is This Fox’s Latest Meme?

Apparently, Fox’s Jeanine Pirro has put aside her demand for President Obama’s impeachment. You know, because only Democrats are talking about it. Instead, without explanation for her change of heart, Pirro demanded in a recent commentary that Obama resign. We suspect this is not an evolution in her thinking so much as an emerging Fox News meme.

Pirro said in her “Opening Statement” commentary on Saturday, August 23, 2014:

This is the last straw.  President Obama’s response in both words and action to the beheading of American James Foley was so weak, wimpy and pathetic that it’s embarrassing.

In times like these, great leaders understand both the enormity and the urgency of the situation, they take the reins, and they lead. Not our president.

Pirro went on to rail about President Obama showing a lack of humanity for playing golf and vacationing in the wake of the news of Foley’s beheading. Within several minutes of scripted outrage about Obama’s leadership, the prisoner swap for U.S. soldier Bowe Bergdahl, the release of news that the U.S. tried to rescue Foley, etc., Pirro rhetorically addressed the president:

Americans are justifiably outraged and wonder if you are disengaged, tired, overworked, bored, or just clueless?

…You don’t want the job, you want the perks – vacations, golf. You don’t want the responsibility. You can’t make a decision. You live in a make-believe world, colored with vanishing red lines. Well, that just doesn’t cut it for us anymore.

…If you do not have as your goal the destruction of ISIS, if you do not have the determination, the desire, and the stamina, then you need to leave. I’m not talking about vacation.

You need to leave the White House. Remove yourself from the most powerful position on Earth. You are putting Americans on the wrong side of history, risking everything.

Funny, but those words echo the opinions I have heard elsewhere on Fox. For example, Greg Gutfeld said yesterday on The Five:

Obama should get his head out of his golf bag or get out of town… It’s time to dispense with political correctness and get over being nice. Nice equals death. …And if our president isn’t up to it, then find someone who is. Hell, maybe it’s better if he stays on the course – for good.

Even more telling, late last month when O’Reilly shot down the calls for impeachment, he also said:

“Talking Points” believes President Obama’s current problems are being exacerbated—word of the day “exacerbated”—by his demeanor. As we have been reporting, he seems disengaged, apathetic even arrogant at times. When he speaks about the border or the Middle East or Putin, he meanders, doesn’t seem authoritative.

So the perception even in some Democratic precincts is that Mr. Obama has lost his ability to deal with problems effectively. An interesting question on the Fox News poll was this. Does Barack Obama even want to be president anymore? 52 percent say yes, but 41 percent of Americans thinks he has had enough. And that may be true.

Coincidence? We report, you decide. Meanwhile, we’ll be keeping our eyes open and keeping you posted.

Pirro did give herself an out on resignation. She lectured Obama: “But if you decide to stay, take a listen to what a real leader sounds like.” She then played a clip of Winston Churchill talking about victory over tyranny.

At least she didn't play a clip of Putin.

Watch Pirro's echo the words of her colleagues while trying to sound original below.

@ Kevin Koster: “That meme is intended to show President Obama as a lazy person who isn’t up to doing the job – and of course, they’re happy to recommend that he quit.”

“The fact that there is no substance to this claim doesn’t seem to have any affect at Fox News.”

Another thing that seems to have no effect at Fox News: the fact that this meme is diametrically opposed to the OTHER meme Fox likes to push — namely, that President Obama is a “wannabe dictator” bent on destroying the Constitution and taking away individual rights.

“Dictators” don’t become dictators by being lazy . . .

The lie that our President is lazy is a familiar meme that Jabba the Ailes pulled from his corpulent ass at least eight years ago. Jabba has repeated the lie numerous times including his recent biography.

On Fux Noise, what comes out of Jabba’s ass soon comes out of “Judge” Jeanine’s mouth.

From Pirro’s rant:

“In times like these, great leaders understand both the enormity and the urgency of the situation, they take the reins, and they lead.”

Hey Jeanine Pirro: I have only this to say:

If YOU want to lead, HOW ABOUT MARCHING THE A**ES OF YOUR MILITARY AGED LOVED ONES DOWN TO YOUR NEAREST ARMED FORCES RECRUITING CENTER RIGHT THIS INSTANT? I’m sure the line there is not long. It’s time for perennially ranting sore loser B***HES like you to PUT UP OR SHUT THE F**K UP!!

’Nuff said.

What a sad slice of American history this era will be when America has seen the rise of an over-population of apathetically ignorant people that continue to justify Fox’s existence!

There is definitely a Fox News meme that somehow President Obama is “bored” with being President and is suddenly “disengaged”. That meme is intended to show President Obama as a lazy person who isn’t up to doing the job – and of course, they’re happy to recommend that he quit.

The fact that there is no substance to this claim doesn’t seem to have any affect at Fox News.

Wow.
I’m sure that the president will cave to the pressure from Pirro any day now.
Or, maybe not.

So — the Westchester County Matron “demands” the President’s resignation . . . can I demand YOUR resignation from Fox due to you once having been under investigation for illegally wiretapping your own husband??

She lectured Obama: “But if you decide to stay, take a listen to what a real leader sounds like.” She then played a clip of Winston Churchill talking about victory over tyranny.

Jeannie, Jeannie — that was the wrong clip.

You should have played this one:

I hope the “Fox Meme” is less than 10 pages, Ms Pirro has lost page 10 before. August 2005.
