Nixon-era dirty trickster, liar and former Trump adviser Roger Stone thinks the Democratic debate last night means his ex-boss has got Hillary Clinton beat because – I kid you not - of “her real record on women.” Meanwhile, “Democrat” Doug Schoen whined that the email “scandal” wasn’t discussed enough.
Stone, Schoen and Peter Johnson, Jr. made up a “fair and balanced” Hannity panel that had nothing positive to say about the debate or the candidates.
One of the most noteworthy events of the debate was Bernie Sanders announcing to Hillary Clinton, “The American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails.” He got wild applause from the audience.
But “former Clinton pollster” Schoen (reminiscent of “former Clinton adviser Dick Morris”) complained to host Sean Hannity that there wasn’t enough talk about Clinton’s email.
SCHOEN: Bernie Sanders effectively punted away his chance to take on the major issue of the emails. And Sean, you’re right. It is a legitimate issue. It should have been discussed and with Bernie Sanders saying, “I’m not gonna talk about it,” he allowed Hillary to pivot away on a singular night when, frankly, I think she may well have locked up the nomination tonight. Joe Biden’s the clear loser tonight. Hillary Clinton the clear winner.
In 2010, I dubbed Schoen the Fox News Democratic wanker of the decade and he’s done nothing to make me regret the designation since.
“Democrat” Peter Johnson, Jr. – who also happens to be Fox chief Roger Ailes’ personal attorney and on-air stand in - joined the pile on. Claiming that boxer Joe Louis used to fight a “bum of the month,” Johnson also complained that the candidates had not attacked Clinton more. “Is this a real debate or is this bum of the month, Elvis tribute show?” Johnson complained.
The third guest was Stone. He had quite a colorful history before he either quit or was fired by Donald Trump. Media Matters explains:
Roger Stone is a "professional dirty trickster" who honed his craft as a teenager when he started working for Nixon's reelection campaign. More recently, he formed an anti-Hillary Clinton group with the acronym "C.U.N.T." after he tried "to come up with words for B.I.T.C.H. and just couldn't do it." In a 2012 profile, New York magazine's Gabriel Sherman wrote that "Stone thinks politics has gotten a lot less interesting since those Nixon days. For one, there are 'fewer and fewer' dirty tricks." Echoing that theme, Stone has endorsed birther smears against President Obama, and pushed claims that Michelle Obama was caught on tape calling white people "whiteys."
None of that was revealed on “we report, you decide” Fox. Hannity introduced Stone by promoting his new anti-Clinton book, “The Clintons’ War on Women,” saying, “I tell ya, it’s really worth reading, a lot of interesting information.”
How much more fair and balanced can you get? Well, a tad more.
STONE: There was a clear winner tonight. It was Donald Trump. He would pulverize that Hillary Clinton. You don’t get to be a better candidate by getting a pass from the moderators and a pass from your opponents. Everybody gave her a pass. It’s easy to excel when nobody challenges you. …Trump in my opinion is going to challenge her on Benghazi, on the emails, on her real record on women.
Right, because Trump handled being challenged by Megyn Kelly so well in the Fox News debate. And he’s got such a great record on women in general. Who’s kidding whom?
But, predictably, nobody disagreed with Stone.
Watch it below, from the October 13 special Hannity show, along with the email portion of the debate, via Raw Story.
“They rehashed the Bill Clinton/Lewinsky scandal with nauseating references to “facts” that aren’t there or have been debunked years ago.”
And naturally here is the ONE IRREFUTABLE FACT that KKKlannity and Roger Stone NEVER, EVER mentioned:
NOBODY DIED WHEN CLINTON LIED!
’Nuff said.
