Pamela Geller Accuses Fox’s Juan Williams Of Wanting To ‘Impose The Sharia’

Anti-Islamic extremist Pamela Geller was back on Hannity tonight, this time to promote her scheme to put an anti-Islam cartoon of Muhammad on Washington, D.C. buses. When pundit Juan Williams challenged her, Geller accused him of both trying to impose Sharia law and of being anti-Muslim at the same time.

Sean Hannity and Fox News seemed to love Geller’s scheme. FoxNews.com titled its video of the segment, “Pamela Geller is not standing down to radical Islam.”

And yet they never displayed the cartoon they were claiming to champion.

Williams argued, “Nobody is saying that you can’t see this ad or cartoon or anything, if you want to see it, Sean. I think Miss Geller is doing it intentionally to provoke a controversy. …There’s no ban on it by the authorities here in Washington, D.C. or New York, where Miss Geller has done it before.

Williams is no wild-eyed Islamist. He famously got fired from NPR after stating, on Fox News, that when he sees “people in Muslim garb” on an airplane, “I get worried. I get nervous.”

But Geller accused him of trying to bully people into accepting Sharia law.

GELLER: It is fierce bullies like Juan Williams who want to impose the Sharia. This is the Sharia, Juan. Where are you gonna stop? Are you gonna stop drinking beer? Are you gonna stop girls from wearing short skirts? At what point? I mean, where is the line gonna be drawn?

Ironically, Geller immediately moved on to accuse Williams of being anti-Muslim and thus criticizing her in order to cover it up.

GELLER: And, frankly, talk about offensive. You say you wouldn’t get on an airplane with Muslims wearing Islamic garb. That’s offensive to me. I would never say such a thing. And for you to try to recover, on my back, is reprehensible.

Williams correctly pointed out that he had never said he wouldn’t get on an airplane.

“I’m a huge free speech advocate,” Williams continued, “But what I see you doing, I think, is trying to provoke, unnecessarily, controversy and at times, offending and demeaning Muslims who regard your actions as not only provocative but offensive.

Geller continued trying to paint Williams as the Islamophobe.

GELLER: Muslims that support free speech will not be offended. Muslims that want to impose a Sharia will be offended. And, frankly, your offensive remarks are far more humiliating to Muslims than my running ads about a cartoon that the media refuses to run. That’s why I’m running this ad. It’s not to be provocative.

Hannity ended the interview quickly.

Memo to Geller: Fox does not take kindly to attacks on Fox personnel or, as Roger Ailes put it, "shooting in the tent."

Watch it below, from the May 26 Hannity.

I am waiting (impatiently and probably in vain) for this harridan to turn her sights on Hannity and his best buddy Oliver North over their involvement in the fraudulent Freedom Concerts/Foundation business. A couple of years ago she was foaming at the mouth over their soak-the-rubes scheme that promised the earth to children of vets and delivered… S.F.A.

Hey Pam Geller, go rent a van and plaster the side of it with Mohammad cartoons and YOU drive it all over the city. Don’t paint a bullseye on the side of public transportation loaded with innocent victims to get your jollies.

I support Joseph West’s comment, though my own opinion of what to do with or to this harridan would get me banned should I voice it. She is no champion of free speech – she is a subversive provocateur, and should be treated as such.

“Muslims that support free speech will not be offended.”

So…anyone who has ever taken offense to another person’s comments or actions is against free speech? It’s a convenient argument for hate-mongers, but it really demonstrates their ignorance about free speech.

I found out on http://www.wikipedia.org recently that Pamela Geller had FOUR CHILDREN from her seventeen year marriage (1990-2007). Ergo, AT LEAST ONE OF THEM IS MILITARY AGED!

’Nuff said.

@ Lakeview Greg Yes indeed — an IRRESPONSIBLE LUNATIC LOUDMOUTH WITH A S**TLOAD OF $$$$! I found out recently that Pamela Geller GOT ALMOST $10 MILLION when she divorced her husband in 2007 after seventeen years of marriage.

Nonsense, Haim. If this woman thinks this is such a great cartoon, show it to us. Same for Hannity. No, this is ravel rousing — not an attempt to stifle free speech. Hannity tipped their hand by refusing to show the cartoon and then, as noted, abruptly stopping the interview when he saw where it was headed. He probably saved Ms. Geller from being banned for life from Fox. But it was close.

Andrew McCarthy has pointed out that jihadis will not stop at cartoons. Even legitimate speech and public discourse will be reacted to, if they feel it is “insulting” to their religion or prophet. In other words, it’s a slippery slope, and people like Juan Williams are leading the way down.

To answer Joseph West, there is no worldwide campaign of violence against holocaust deniers and neo-Nazis.

This story is just the tip of the iceberg. Anyone interested in preserving free speech in America should learn about UN Human Rights Council Resolution 16/18.

Pammy should make a poster of the winning cartoon and post it on one of the windows at this Workplace Bully skyscraper. We bet the AirTrain JFK Nixon Trainee Ailes won’t allow it to be posted on the building.

Race Bait Hannocchio should man up and post the winning cartoon on his Facebook page and Twitter account. We doubt it. He’s a coward.
Joseph West commented 2015-05-27 03:35:34 -0400 · Flag
She is NOT a free speech advocate; she’s a provocateur plain and simple.

I wonder if she’d support speeches by Holocaust deniers? Or how she’d react if a neo-Nazi group took out ads condemning the “Zionist Conspiracy controlling America’s banks?” Something tells me she’d be leading the brigades to have such actions and speech banned.

(edited by moderator – no talk of violence allowed, even if you’re just kidding.)
