Jesse Watters' attempted ambush of New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio didn’t work out so well. Watters was so obnoxious in a recent press conference that he was escorted out.
Watters, who regularly ambushes people on behalf of The O’Reilly Factor, complained in the press conference that de Blasio’s staff had “not been very respectful” toward The Factor when it tried to book him for an interview.
As if Watters is ever respectful to anyone he disagrees with politically. You may recall that Watters was so disrespectful to women at a NOW conference that he received a criminal citation.
In fact, Watters showed his lack of respect right here in the exchange as he deliberately tried to embarrass and badger de Blasio:
de Blasio: “I’m sure they’re very respectful.”
Watters: “Actually not.”
de Blasio: “I’m sure they are.”
Watters: “We’re just trying to get to know you better. What’s the problem?”
Yeah, right, “just trying to get to know you better.”
Afterward, the mayor’s office tweeted "Total stunt" with proof that they had responded to The O’Reilly Factor’s request for an interview – and politely declined.
Ironically, CNN contacted Fox for comment on the tweet and received no response.
Watch the exchange between Watters and de Blasio below.
He should have been escorted out right at that point . . .
.
1. Should employees be fired for sexual harassment?
2. Are you proud to work for someone who pursued a woman who wasn’t his wife?
3. Have you pursued pedophile priests in the Catholic church, or is that topic taboo with the suits at Fox "News’ Channel because they have friends in the Catholic church like the Dolans.
We guarantee that segment would not air.
NOTE TO INTERN JESSE
Little boy, you wouldn’t last one day if you pulled that same stunt at a legitimate news network.
D’OH! Sorry about that Jan. My bad.
“SEE, I TOLD YOU SO! BILL DeBLASIO IS A COMMUNIST!
’Nuff said.
