The O’Reilly Factor sent ambush producer Jesse Watters to a National Organization for Women conference in Albuquerque, NM – apparently for the sole purpose of posing smarmy, sexist questions to the attendees. Watters had been denied press credentials so he trolled the conference hotel. After a while, he was escorted out by the police and told he’d be arrested if he came back.
Some of Watters’ trollish questions to women were:
- “Have you ever burned your bra?”
- “Are you married? …Single, ready to mingle?”
- To a woman who said there is an “all out war on women” going on, Watters asked, “Do I get a weapon?”
- “Have you ever been wounded in the war on women?”
- When a woman said men should think circularly, Watters said, “Like a womb!”
- “What’s your favorite movie, GI Jane?”
Later, he said to a woman who was apparently with the conference and didn’t want to speak to him, “You’re a feminist, you’re not afraid of Fox are you? …‘Cause I’m on your side.”
After being told by the police that he’d be arrested if he came back to the hotel, Watters smirked, “I feel a little discriminated against."
Watch it below, from the June 30, 2014 The O'Reilly Factor.
1. Do I get a weapon (in the war on women)
2. Have you ever been wounded (in the same war)
Basically, Fox has a recurring theme of ‘war’ on something they hold dear: religion (i.e. their (sub)version of Christianity), 2nd Amendment, guns, culture wars, etc…
These two questions would still apply to those idiotic ‘wars’ Fox keeps fighting. So next time there is a ‘war on christmas’ I will be asking the above two questions.
Jesse is a piker.
But he wasn’t looking to do any real reporting. He was only interested in being snarky, smart-alecky and condescending. It was nothing more than the same facetious, wise guy bullsh!t that BOR always seems to find entertaining when he can target it at those he sees as the “dopey left” and “enemies” of “traditional values”.
No wonder Watters was denied press credentials – he’s not press; he’s an attempted comedy skit gone horribly bad. He and BOR have taken the good that ambush journalism can bring about (think “60 Minutes”), copied Leno’s “Jaywalking” series and perverted it into their own personal, attack machine. It’s pitiful and they both should be rather embarrassed to put out this tripe on a supposed “news” network.
One of these days, Dirty Watters will be arrested and charged with a felony.
NOTE TO WATTERS
Serves you right for acting like a fool at the NOW convention. If the Fox “News” suites were smart, they would terminate you on the spot. You are a worthless so-called “journalist.” You belong at the circus with the rest of the clowns.
And btw, it’s National Organization FOR Women. They’re very sensitive and insistent on that because there are many male members and in fact several men were among the group that formed it to begin with.
