Chalk up Herman Cain as the latest faux expert on Fox News. It’s not as though Cain had any kind of distinguished political career before he decided to run for president. And once he did run, he pretty much had to drop out in disgrace after a series of policy gaffes and allegations of sexual misconduct. But on Fox News, that’s so two months ago! Last night, Sean Hannity pronounced Cain a “great American” and trotted him out as a political pundit with all the cred and gravitas they’d give to Karl Rove.
“What do you think Newt has to do to regain his momentum?” Hannity asked, before going on to ask Cain his advice for the other two candidates, too. I mean, come on! Is there a candidate in the world who would take Cain’s political advice seriously?
Well, at least we’ll give Cain credit for not suggesting the candidates follow his “9-9-9” plan but he did urge each one to “be more specific” about their economic agenda.
Hannity went on to goad Cain into attacking Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg which prompted the two to chuckle over Cain’s maxim, “If you don’t have something good to say, don’t say anything.”
As if Bullyboy Hannity ever opens his mouth about a Democrat withoutmaligning him or her as much as possible.
I NEVER thought Iâd see the day Sean Hannity would so vigorously defend a black man who sexually harassed white women . . .
So true!
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: I NEVER thought I’d see the day Sean Hannity would so vigorously defend a black man who sexually harassed white women . . .
