Greta Van Susteren Wants CNN To Include Donald Trump In The Democratic Debate

Fox host Greta Van Susteren thinks that if Bernie Sanders is part of the Democratic presidential debate, Donald Trump should be, too. Seriously. UPDATED: Van Susteren says she was just joking.

In a tweet today, Van Susteren asked, “if they can invite a Socialist / Sanders to Dem debate, why not a Rep?”

Really, Greta?

That tweet, by the way, came a few hours after Van Susteren helped Trump promote his plan to steal the limelight from the debate, with this tweet:

But that wasn't enough. Later in the day, Van Susteren "just asked" if Trump would "dominate news tonight" with his live tweets.

Both Rupert Murdoch and Bill O’Reilly point to Greta Van Susteren as “proof” that Fox has liberal hosts.

10/24/15 UPDATE: Van Susteren called me humorless for not getting that she was kidding about wanting Trump in the Democratic debate.

Greta plays Nostradamus: "Do you think @realdonaldtrump will dominate news tonight as he live-tweets in the #DemDebate?"

Well, if you’re the typical right-wing drooler glued to Fox News and nothing but GOP TV™ then, sure, The Donald will dominate the ‘news.’ In fact, “Fox & Friends” is banging the Trump drum right now parroting his tweets and boasting how many followers he picked up. And, of course, Greta herself is trumpeting Trump pimping the silly notion of a Republican candidate participating in a Democratic primary debate.

But enough about the Democratic debate says GOP TV™. “Fox & Friends” is struggling to smear the Democratic debate other than lame observations like it was “boring.” Yeah, “boring” since adult conversation typically is dull stuff for children.

So up next, Jeb! is going to get softballed on “Fox & Friends” to defend his smarter brother Dubya against charges he screwed up the economy and we’re still feeling the effects. Oh, Jeb! will certainly inject some excitement into “Fox & Friends” [chortle] and what can be more ‘fair and balanced’ following a Democratic debate than softballing Republicans.
