Greg Gutfeld Is ‘Sick And Tired’ Of Fox Defending Trump – Because Hillary Clinton

Greg Gutfeld doesn’t mind any of the crude, crassness of what Donald Trump actually says. Gutfeld’s just tired of people defending Trump because he’d probably lose to Hillary Clinton.

In a discussion about Trump’s latest attack on Clinton, in which he said she got “schlonged” by Barack Obama in 2008 and said her trip to the bathroom was "disgusting," Gutfeld complained that Trump gets more preferential treatment on Fox than its employees do.

GUTFELD: I've heard people defend him [Trump] about making fun of a disability, making fun of John McCain, making fun of women, a woman's face, I just wanted to hear somebody defend this as well. Because it just never ends. No one will ever stop defending the crass stuff he says. …And I'm sick of hearing people defend this stuff. By the way, we're not even allowed to use the word that he said, but somehow we're going to have him on our network all the time. Meanwhile, we treat our employees far differently than that.

Gutfeld has a point there. Fox’s Ralph Peters and Stacey Dash each got suspended for two weeks after calling Obama a “p****” (Peters) and saying he didn’t “give a s***” about terrorism (Dash). Yet even though Fox bleeped out the “schlonged” word, Fox pundits are still defending Trump.

But while it’s nice that Gutfeld called out Fox’s hypocritical Trump favoritism, it wasn’t long before Gutfeld revealed his self-serving political motive: he's worried Trump and the GOP would get creamed by Hillary Clinton.

GUTFELD: I don't have a problem with what he [Trump] says. I have a problem with people here defending it. That's my problem.

…I think what happens is when are you surrounded by toadies that cheer you on, you're like a comedian, and you like the laughter. So I don't  -  he's very impulsive. Instead of thinking about what he says, he's impulsive and it makes you wonder: do you want an impulsive leader, or do you want a leader that thinks? I want somebody who can beat Hillary. I don't think an impulsive leader is going to beat Hillary.

Also, you have to wonder if this isn’t a message Fox head Roger Ailes is trying to deliver to Trump. Because even cohost Kimberly Guilfoyle, who must stick her finger in the Fox News wind to figure out what she wants to say, suggested Trump should tone down his schtick. Guilfoyle said Trump’s 2016 New Year’s resolution “has gotta be to, like, change the tone a little bit, the demeanor, to be able to reach out because in order to win a general election, head to head, you are going to have to draw from that pool (of independents, undecided voters and women).”

JW, I hear you. But republicans are on a constant slide to the right. That’s not good for the health of out politics. If D.D. Eisenhower were to materialize today he would be seen as a freak to the GOP. The guy that whooped the Nazis.

The biggest lie these days is that both parties are the same.

David, I’m pretty sure that the ghosts of both Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon are shaking their heads when they see what passes as “Republican presidential candidates.”

Hell, Nixon’s ghost is probably looking at them and going “Damn—even I couldn’t get away with that shit! Of course, I had to deal with a media that didn’t take shit from nobody and actually stood up to politicians.”

Uh oh! They are actually starting to think. “Do you want an impulsive leader, or do you want one that thinks?”.
I want them to front the jerk, the Donald. But now they are worried that Trump is gonna wear out the warranty on Faux’s explain-o-meter

Then Gutfeld looked at the republican bench and he saw,… the ghost of Dwight D.Eisenhower shaking his head.
