It’s not hard to guess why FoxNews.com closed the comments on its report about a Jewish newspaper suggesting that Israeli Mossad agents assassinate President Obama. We’ve repeatedly noted how Fox News readers long for the deaths of Democrats and President Obama in particular. This thread appears to be no different. One of our readers got a screen grab of some of the comments before the thread was closed – and sure enough, the malevolence and racism was over the top. Screen grabs after the jump.

Folks, I deleted a few off topic comments about a certain other blog obsessed with this one. However, I will be doing a post about that blog soon where you can go to town. Cyberstalkers, you can start panting now but I can’t promise when I’ll get to it.

Alex: I’m pretty sure that most of our trolls are people that were sent our way by him or one of his regular readers that have a blog of their own. Too many familiar party lines for me to believe they just happened on us via Google.

I find it interesting that Fox Defender$ still try to smear Newshounds writers by twisting, and taking out of context, comments made by some readers YEARS ago, but never once have I seen them condemn the racism and death wishes towards our POTUS which appear almost daily on the Fox Nation cesspool run by their hero, Jesse Watters.

I know it’s a waste of time to suggest this, but to those who blog about glorifying and fantasizing the killing of a human being need to remember and watch and listen to the words of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords who is stepping down because she said "I have more work to do on my recovery.’

Where’s the Secret Service when they’re really needed? And why do I get the feeling if some “liberal” site had even ONE comment supporting the assassination of a GOP President or even candidate, FoxNoise would be demanding the gov’t shutting that site down?
