Last night, Sean Hannity aired what he laughably called a "Hannity Investigation" titled, "Radical Muslims on the March." It was a typical Hannity special: a roomful of his favorite conservatives and extremists plus one or two moderates - which Hannity labeled a "studio audience." It was an especially hateful and hate-filled display from Hannity. The only relief was Tamara Holder. She rightly called out Gabriel as a "dangerous person."
We have long posted about the unhinged hideousness that is Brigitte Gabriel. Recently, I caught her accusing the father of just-freed Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl of uttering the "war cry of Allah" in the Rose Garden - to the supposed pleasure of President Obama. Thanks to Dana Milbank, Gabriel's ugliness is now more widely known.
Naturally, that has only made her more appealing to the tough-talking coward, Sean Hannity. Last night's show was Gabriel's second appearance on the Hannity show this week. She got a front row seat in the "audience."
Tamara Holder was in the back row. And all I can say is, thank God she didn't let the shrieking Gabriel or the bullying Hannity stop her. Sadly, she was way outnumbered.
The clip below, via Media Matters, gives a good taste of the extremism presented as mainstream dialogue. Watch Holder do a darned good job of dealing with it.
We godda arm ourselves! bleep! bleep! bleep! bleep! …
