Fox's Napolitano Suggests Republicans Impeach President Obama Instead Of Suing Him

Judge Andrew Napolitano renewed his call to impeach President Obama in a discussion about the Republican lawsuit against him. Napolitano waved off the lawsuit as a useless stunt. But impeachment...

It was a discussion that purported to be about whether or not the lawsuit is a "big waste of time," as Fox & Friends host Elisabeth Hasselbeck put it. But it soon became clear she didn't care. Check out how she rushed her guest through his explanation of the suit and its basis.

"This is a political stunt," Napolitano said, when he finally got to the nut graph. "There is a mechanism in the Constitution for Congress to use when the president is not doing his job."

"What is it," Hasselbeck said with both eagerness and impatience, as if she wanted him to get to the point she almost surely knew in advance he'd make.

NAPOLITANTO: It's called impeachment. The president will laugh at this lawsuit, the courts will reject this lawsuit. It will take them years to resolve this lawsuit if they even accept the case. Impeachment will focus his attention immediately!

"Thank you for that assessment," Hasselbeck chirped.

From Kevin Groenhagen’s comment:

“This is all about Obama’s behavior and not his race.”

Yeah Kevin, SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURE IT IS.

And I’m Pope Francis I.

I’ll bet the house you’ve NEVER visited http://www.foxnation.com — a website that, in my honest opinion, is the MOST VILE, DISGUSTING AND STOMACH-TURNING AND VOMIT-INDUCING RACIST WEBSITE ON THE FACE OF THE EARTH! Mark my words: from January 20, 2009, President Obama has been CONSTANTLY BOMBARDED WITH DEATH THREATS and other racist insults from this TOTALLY SICKENING HOLE OF RAW SEWAGE! I sure as hell hope the Secret Service is KEEPING A VERY CLOSE EYE on this website (in case you don’t know, it’s run by Bill O’Reilly’s perennial a*s-kissing sidekick Jesse Watters) 24/7/365.

From Joseph West’s comment:

“Would the “Judge” kindly point to the SPECIFIC “high crimes” and/or “misdemeanors” for which Congress needs in order to impeach a President?”

Hmmmmmmmmmm Joseph, given the VERY HIGH LEVEL OF RACISM present at Faux Spews, it’s VERY possible that Andrew Napolitano just might cite “being a black man in the White House”.

Regarding the title of this thread:

Hey Andrew Napolitano — as Clint Eastwood once said:

GO AHEAD — MAKE OUR DAY!

;^)

’Nuff said.

Would the “Judge” kindly point to the SPECIFIC “high crimes” and/or “misdemeanors” for which Congress needs in order to impeach a President? Granted, impeachment can also be done for treason or bribery BUT a President (or any other high official of the Government) must be proved guilty in court of ANY of those offenses before impeachment proceedings can be held. (Interestingly, the reason for Andrew Johnson’s impeachment was based on a law that had been passed by Congress the year before and would be repealed by Congress 20 years later and the repeal would be upheld in a SCOTUS case in the 1920s. Basically, Johnson faced impeachment because he believed the President does NOT need Congressional approval to dismiss a Cabinet member.)

Simply disagreeing with the political opposition is NOT sufficient for a charge of “treason” to be leveled against the President. If the “Judge” thinks what Obama’s done constitutes “treason,” I hope he’s as ready when a DEMOCRATIC House files impeachment charges against a GOP President for “treason.” For some reason, I don’t think he’ll do that, though.

And another despicable fame whore (now looking even more like the kid from The Munsters with his strangely dyed barnett*) does his best to ensure a continuing free ride on the Monster Ailes Money Train.

Brainless Liz Hazmat thinks that impeachment is a French fruit pastry.
