Fox News: John 3:16 or 666?

Posted by NewsHound Alex 35.20pc on January 09, 2012 · Flag

Glory Hallelujah! Last night, Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow not only threw 316 yards to bring his team to glory over the Steelers, he also set a post-season record by averaging 31.6 yards per completion. According to God’s Messengers at  FoxNews.com, and at Fox News Channel as heard by moi this morning on Fox and Friends and America’s Newsroom, it’s (probably) a miracle! Some people say it’s the hand of God Himself pointing us to the message of John 3:16! But wait! Are there other, more sinister numbers lurking in the shadows at Fox?

Longtime NewsHounds friend, Doors17, has contacted us to point out the following:

F is the sixth letter of the alphabet, O is the 15th, and X is the 24th. Now allow me to turn your attention to the chalkboard, and let’s do the math.

F = 6
O = 15; 1+5 = 6
X = 24; 2+4 = 6
FOX = 666

ailes_666.jpg666 is, of course, the Number of the Beast cited in Revelations 13:18, which, according to the author of that particular Holy Hallucination, will be marked upon the foreheads and hands of the unbelieving as the end times approach and without which, in the ultimate blend of corporate capitalism and government, no one will be allowed to buy or sell. And which channel, boys and girls, is the market leader in cheerleading corporate capitalism in charge of government?

First correct answer received by us written on the back of a torn piece of stale pitta bread gets a copy of “Drop Kick me, Jesus, Through the Goalposts of Life!”

P.S.: While F-O-X = 666, CBS achieved a peak rating between 8.00-8.15pm ET during yesterday's game of – yup – 31.6. So maybe it’s CBS that sits at the right hand of God and not 666 News? We report, you decide!

Since everybody is having a laugh over Taboo, I figured I’d inject something not about St. Timothy, but about fundamentalist Christianity and the so-called “inerrants”, and their (false) interpretation of Revelations, since it is mentioned above. Plain and simple, the original “666” was printed as a cipher in Hebrew that referred to Nero specifically. I understand, but also know, that many non-Christians (Christians, too) know little or nothing about the rifts and doctrinal/dogmatic arguments throughout the history of Christianity. The scholarly cases are out there, both within Christianity and outside (Hebrew scholars, etc.).
The arguments for the “literal-inerrant” version vs. the other main interpretation(s) of the Bible, OT & NT are out there. Worth looking into. At some point I would like to start publishing some stuff, but at this point, time isn’t there. I have a fantastic bibliography to refer to. Soon.

Saint Timmy of Teebow’s jersey number is 15. 1 + 5 = 6.
Fux Noise evil mastermind Jabba T. Ailes birthday is May 15. Again, 1 + 5 = 6.
Fux Noise pastor of the American Taliban Church is Gomer Huckabee. Huckabee’s birthday is August 24. 2 + 4 = 6.

Coincidence? I think not.

Thanks Alex! Of course I can’t take credit for being the author of this. I either read this Fox = 666 or someone sent this to me about ten years ago, and I always thought it was funny and use it when I felt the time was appropriate.

I don’t hate or dislike Tim Tebow or the Broncos. I’ve been to Denver twice and it’s a beautiful city. Like you Alex and many others here what I don’t like is the way Fox and the right are using Tebow’s faith to push their agenda.

I haven’t had an NFL team to root for since my Rams moved to St. Louis at the end of the 1994 season. To me sports is an escape from the madness of everyday life. All I wanted to see on Sunday was an entertaining game, and I think we got one.

The Beast is News Corporation.

Those frauds at Fox “News” Channel are pure evil, including a few of their hosts who call themselves christian, but deep down have dark souls. They are wolves in sheep’s clothing.

A TRUE christian does not deceive their fellow human being, lie and advocate hate, or cheat. But we are not dealing with true christians at Fox “News” Channel.

In 2012, News Corporation, Fox “News” Channel and their talking heads will be exposed as frauds.

NOTE TO FOX “NEWS” CHANNEL

The devil is a liar, so is Fox “News” Channel and their hosts.

I’ve watched various evangelicals pointing at the sky, doing prayer hands, and thanking Jesus during football games, MTV awards and what have you, for years. Not a fan of ostentatious piety, but Tebow doing a prayer thing at games is not a big issue for me. I doubt that sort of carry-on converts anyone and to me its no more or less distasteful as players hawking and spitting (I can see the Fox Defender headline now: “NewsHound Alex equates Christian Prayer with Spitting”, LOL)

But what is an issue for me is the RW media (and that includes Fox News) using Tebow’s religious displays for political propaganda ends, in order to woo religious fanatics to make a pact with Mammon. It’s hypocrisy of the highest order for supposed followers of Jesus to get into bed with libertarian capitalism.
