Fox News’ Outnumbered hosts so viciously attacked President Obama over the Paris terror attacks and this morning’s French raid targeting a suspect that you would have thought the attacks happened here and not thousands of miles away. And yes, somebody made it about Benghazi.
Never mind that French security measures failed, they say “radical Islam”
Not one of the five cohosts of Outnumbered – none of whom have any credentials in national security or terrorism – seemed to think it worth questioning how French intelligence missed a group of French and Belgian citizens amassing a cache of weapons and then launching a series of well-planned attacks.
No, newly-minted terrorism expert Jesse Watters thinks France should be admired because they say the magical, terror-fighting mantra.
WATTERS: It looks like France has declared war on radical Islam and our president should take note. What France is doing right now is they are rooting out and cracking down domestically on these savages that are living within France.
…They’re not afraid to say “radical Islam” and I think they’re doing whatever they need to do to eradicate this menace. This is a civilized nation so they’re not insecure about that. They’re not gonna worry about offending Muslims. They’re not gonna worry about civil liberties, they’re gonna go in and get the job done.
Apparently preventing the attacks is not as important as fighting hard after being attacked.
MEGHAN MCCAIN: I never thought I would live in a world where France was more aggressive on terrorism than the United States of America but that’s apparently the world we’re living in. This president isn’t keeping America safe and I don’t understand right now how we are now being vilified as Republicans and this whole thing is being politicized?
HARRIS FAULKNER: The French Prime Minister has just said …that radical Islam is France’s enemy and must be named as such. So I’m wondering where our president will fall on that because that’s an official word for them.
MCCAIN: Talking about climate change.
McCain got a big laugh.
Fox News blames France’s intelligence failures on President Obama
I could just imagine how these chickenhawks would be squealing if the Paris attacks actually happened on U.S. soil. But that hasn’t stopped these five “patriots” from making it all President Obama’s fault anyway.
WATTERS: We did or did not have intel knowing this was going to happen. I don’t know which scares me more, knowing we had intel but didn’t connect the dots or didn’t see it coming at all. And I think that goes to the fact that Obama’s drone policy is great. You know, we zap these guys, take ‘em off the battlefield but we’re not capturing people, we’re not interrogating them, we’re not learning about actionable intelligence and I think that’s what happens when you don’t have human intelligence on the ground, you let these things slide by and then boom, there goes the stadium.
…FAULKNER: Red flags in fact were raised six months ago warning that ISIS could carry out a complex Paris-style attack. That intel even named the alleged Paris mastermind. …A joint intelligence assessment from the Department of Homeland Security, the FBI and the National Counterterrorism Center warned in May that the Islamic State appeared to have developed the capability to launch a more complex attack against western targets. Of course, it didn’t specify which target but it had that name (Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the supposed mastermind of the Paris attacks). The report singled out that alleged ringleader of the Paris attacks and how he directed a failed terror plot in Belgium via cellphone from a safe house in Greece. All of this after President Obama said on Sunday that, quote, no specific intel could have led the United States to warn France ahead of time, end quote.
…So maybe not exactly the place but there was so much juicy specificity that they at least had to chat about and maybe they did.
In other words, Faulkner has no idea what was or was not shared with the French by the U.S. But she blamed President Obama anyway for not shaming France in a time of tragedy.
Watters, the guy who sanctions wannabe assassins at his Fox Nation smirked and suggested the French deaths are Obama’s fault.
WATTERS: I remember President Bush was killed for “Bin Laden Determined to attack the United States” (sic) and people were talking about impeachment and he really dropped the ball. Now you have the name of this guy, you have the target. I mean, this president does not have a great track record when it comes to intelligence. He underestimated ISIS. He actually outed a CIA station chief over in Afghanistan, so another intelligence failure and this time was deadly.
Fox thinks Paris' tragedy is a great opportunity to smear John Kerry and bring up Benghazi, too!
But wait, there’s more. John Kerry has said the most recent ISIS attacks were worse than Charlie Hebdo because ISIS had some rationale for attacking Charlie Hebdo. Of course, Kerry was not saying the earlier attacks were justified but that the latter attacks were more horrific because of their randomness.
But Fox didn’t care what Kerry meant or even how the French took it. This was another excuse for more political exploitation!
“When I first saw this, I almost threw coffee at my television set… What is wrong with you?” McCain said, sounding almost hysterical. “I don’t know what’s happening to our country right now.”
“You know what it reminded me of? The cartoon that the administration floated out after the Benghazi attacks on our US consulate in Libya,” Faulkner just happened to recall.
Tantaros sneered that Kerry is "not really a serious person" because he has a yacht named Scaramouche (and being a U.S. Senator, presidential candidate and now Secretary of State don't count). But, "Punch" Tantaros thinks Kerry is dangerous because of "the blame America first rhetoric and that’s what we hear time and again. I mean, this is a president, didn’t even go to Paris. You mentioned the CIA. The first thing that he did was try and prosecute those CIA officers when he came into office. I mean, we shouldn’t keep calling them leftists. The right direction is really backward."
Oh, the unintended irony of Tantaros. She and her colleagues haven’t just blamed America first, they blamed America only.
They should be ashamed of themselves. Watch it below, from the November 18 Outnumbered, and see why.
You really think what they say of crimes in black communities is true?
Why no stories or talk of no other race?
ALL MEDIA has a psy-ops program to Brainwash the public to HATE black people.
Do a search on crimes in the country and read some newspapers that carry the stories of crimes of others.
I hope all heard the reference to white european culture.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Ellen & all of your readers too. Enjoy the day ~ watch the parades & football & leave the indigestion for those idiots!
Fox at its most disgusting.
I can only hope that somewhere Jon Stewart is watching and will give these people their comedic just desserts. Soon, please!
Hey Meghan, they didn’t tell ya? France announced they’re taking in 30,000 Syrian refugees.
