Fox News Blames Obama Over Planned Parenthood Shooting

 Planned_Parenthood_shooting.png

It may be a holiday weekend but Fox's "blame Obama first" knee-jerk reaction was ready when a shooter struck Planned Parenthood in Colorado Spring, Colorado.

Before they got to blaming Obama, Fox News contributor Bo Dietl - the guy who thinks we "worry" too much about our Constitutional rights - complained that the local police were waiting too long to "take out" the shooter. Nobody questioned whether that might have endangered the lives of people inside. After all, it's Planned Parenthood, not anybody Fox really cares about.

In fact, the pundits griped about New York police deploying security to local Planned Parenthood "even though there is no credible threat and we don't know where the shooter originated," Dana Perino happened to note. "Is that a necessary precaution?" Yeah, just asking.

"Is it an overreaction? I don't know," Dietl said. But he did think the police were "stretching it pretty far."

Greg Gutfeld apparently thinks Planned Parenthood should be at risk. "If it turns out to be the bank, do we reinforce all the banks in New York now?" Gutfeld "asked." This from the guy so frightened by the Paris terror attacks, that he refuses to take in any Syrian refugees.

But leave it to Kimberly Guilfoyle to get right down to what matters to Fox: blaming Obama and suggesting he's "too black" to care about police officers.

GUILFOYLE: We were getting some reports earlier and talking about the Justice Department stripping local law enforcement officers of much needed tactical supplies, military-style equipment after Ferguson and whatnot and the investigations that happened. And you just think about a situation like this where the police need every available resource to put down an active shooter situation, especially someone that seems to be heavily armed. Doesn't make sense to me why we would handicap our police officers when we need them so much in a crisis situation like this.

Dietl took the hint.

DIETL: Again, this is our president acting like a fool again. I mean to see something like this, we noticed when the attacks occurred in Paris, when the cops were in their car getting attacked, we have to prepare ourselves. This is a war.

...It’s going to open up here in America, and we’ve got to be prepared. And we also got to start training all our officers in the use of high powered equipment. We’re dealing with bad people here. Our little 9 millimeters are not going to do anything against somebody with an AK-47.

Roger Ailes probably wrote out early Christmas bonuses for these guys today.

For the rest of us, watch it below, from Fox's November 27 The Five.

Wow, this thread drew some of the worst, most hate-filled trolls we’ve seen here in a long time.

Speaks volumes about “pro lifers,” eh?

I have absolutely no opinion on planned parenthood or anything it does. But I will say, like Scott Roeder, who killed George Tiller, this was murders done by a mentally ill loon (to use the Fox parlance) who listened to what Fox News told him to do. Kinda like the dog who told David Berkowitz to kill people.

The dude is a major league crackpot.

“Hood said Dear rarely talked to him, and when he did, he tended to offer unsolicited advice such as recommending that Hood put a metal roof on his house so the U.S. government couldn’t spy on him.

“He was really strange and out there, but I never thought he would do any harm,” he said.

Dear also lived part of the time in a cabin with no electricity or running water in Black Mountain, North Carolina. He kept mostly to himself, his neighbors said. When he did talk, it was a rambling combination of different topics that didn’t make sense.

He tended to avoid eye contact, said James Russell, who lived a few hundred feet down the mountain from Dear’s cabin.

“If you talked to him, nothing with him was very cognitive,” Russell said."

The shooter’s “no more baby parts” comments to the cops upon arrest should better place the blame upon Carly Fiorina and Fox News.

Oh, NOW I understand!!
Hateful, racist and incredibly stupid comments are all good as long as they are spewed on a ‘commentary show’!
Gee, I DO hope that the entire Fox base smart enough to understand the distinction! Ya know, those like Robert Lewis Dean.

Correction: [you want]. Also I stumbled upon the top of the page that explains it all.. “We watch Fox so you don’t have to…” How about people get their OWN news from a variety of sources and stop relying on people to think for them. What a novel idea. No wonder this country is such a mess.

@doors 17. I think you nailed it.

This old white nutjob, who is a mass murderer, domestic terrorist and cop killer, will soon be a non-story on Fux Noise.

So, just checking here, but you DO understand the difference between a news commentary show like “The Five” and news reporting, right? I watched this particular episode, and although you have quotes and the actual words that were spoken, you’ve taken words out of context, as usual. Guilfoyle is a former prosecutor and will ALWAYS stick up for the safety of police officers. Gutfeld doesn’t like anything (he’s a satirist). The premise of him being afraid of Syrians so we won’t go to Paris or house any in his home is moronic. I normally don’t respond or troll, but this article is so poorly constricted and conceived I couldn’t help myself. I live in Colorado Springs, and if want to be a ‘journalist’ try to write to enlighten people.

It’s this simple…

Muslim shooter = Terrorist. (Declare war on entire religion)

Black shooter = Thug (Blame entire race)

White shooter = Loner with a history of mental illness. (Only blame the individual and sending thoughts and prayers to the victims would be nice of you)

Now, go write that down and staple it to your forehead so you don’t forget.

@ mlp !: Well, it’s always nice to help the unfortunate but remember that they need to be willing to ACCEPT the help for it to do any good.

And too many of the teabaggers and their Christian Taliban allies simply refuse to acknowledge there may be another view point if it conflicts with their already accepted view.

Yet again, the only one with any rationality of the subject is Julie Roginsky. She tweeted today that goon should be called what he is, a domestic terrorist. I think having brains and compassion must preclude you from being on Fox shows more regularly as she has both.

I give it two, maybe three days before this is old news. He’s not a Muslim or a Mexican so he doesn’t fit the mold of a Fox News Target. Perhaps this idiot should have yelled Alu Acbar or even Arriba La Raza to stay in the Fox news cycle.

Another truly disturbing tragedy. I can’t follow the mindset of the previous poster. The assumption President Obama hates white people, America, the Constitution because he/she doesn’t like the cost of health insurance? An AK-47 is an assault rifle. The politicization comes from Fox and gop. There sure are a lot Chicago killings and there sure are a lot of other killings across the country. Neither makes the other acceptable. Republicans don’t like Obama and nobody cares. Waiting for Fox pundits to say “We will not allow the shooter’s picture to be aired”. And don’t forget the Fox psychologists discussing his mental illness and dysfunctional upbringing.

Dietl is a reason cops needs to be extra screened. This sad excuse of an ex-cop will say anything to please his master, Nixon Trainee Ailes. He would sell his soul for Ailes. Keep those checks rolling.
Dave Wright commented 2015-11-28 14:50:44 -0500 · Flag
I have said it before but it deserves repeating. I am thankful that Bo Dietl is an ex-cop. It is scary to think what damage he would do if still on the job.

mlp !: There’s no sense in arguing with “Jordan” since it’s likely nothing more than a FoxNoise sock puppet. “Jordan’s” comment is its ONLY comment on this site. (I use “it” because the profile picture is female but we all know profile pictures don’t mean anything.)
There’ve been a lot of recent posts by “first timers” who don’t seem interested in any topic other than the one they choose to post on. (You’d almost think that post was their “assignment for the day” and they don’t bother looking at any other story or article.)
mlp ! commented 2015-11-28 12:21:37 -0500 · Flag
Gee, I guess you missed this, Jordan:
http://www.cnn.com/2015/11/28/politics/colorado-shooting-planned-parenthood-obama/index.html
Or probably any other statement by our president that you didn’t quite care for….which very likely is all of them.
A WHITE CHRISTIAN TEABAGGING TERRORIST used an AK-47:
“…Design work on the AK-47 began in the last year of World War II (1945). In 1946, the AK-47 was presented for official military trials, and in 1948, the fixed-stock version was introduced into active service with selected units of the Soviet Army.”
Hmmm…you must have missed that info as well.
Imagine our surprise!
President Obama is NOT the biggest threat to this country, and never has been. People like Robert Lewis Dean, Dylann Roof, Adam Lanza and those that live and breathe the propaganda spewed by Fox constantly are the real danger.
Have a nice holiday weekend! Come back when you know what you’re talking about.

Three people were killed and at least eight others wounded over the Thanksgiving weekend in Chicago. (Chicago Sun Times)

Words from Obama on the issue: Silence….

White guy uses a semi-automatic rifle, not an assault rifle or “military style” rifle, to kill people at a place that has been politicized for months. Stirring the minds of the easily manipulated citizens.

Obama is the biggest threat to the American way of life…Obama hates white people, Americans, the Constitution, and free market capitalism. He destroyed our economy with measures like the ACA and immigration amnesty. The “Affordable” Care Act has been nothing short of a disaster. My health insurance bill is up to $450/month. (Compare this to my $25/month auto insurance from Insurance Panda or my $10/month renters insurance… both private enterprise!) Keep your hands off us!

The last time I checked there were 2,712 victims of shootings so far in 2015 in Chicago. (Chicago Tribune)

Enough is enough Obama. Enough of you running your mouth about gun violence when the bodies are hitting the streets in your city. When they drop like slaughtered cattle in Baltimore.

Not a word about the career criminals with body counts that far exceed the disillusioned white guy with an axe to grind.

Why didn’t Dana blame Ed Snowden like she did when those bastards shot people in Paris two weeks back?

I would never have thought that Bob Beckel would be anyone’s moral compass but he was that show’s morality. Since he was fired, they have became horrific.
