Fox’ Jesse Watters Praises France For Not ‘Worrying’ About Civil Liberties

Jesse Watters is at least the second Fox News pundit to suggest that American civil liberties are a pesky nuisance that should be disposed of in the fight against terrorism.

As part of Fox's hideous exploitation of the French terror raids that occurred early this morning, Watters praised the French for being so – well, un-American.

WATTERS: It looks like France has declared war on radical Islam and our president should take note. What France is doing right now is they are rooting out and cracking down domestically on these savages that are living within France.

…They’re not afraid to say “radical Islam” and I think they’re doing whatever they need to do to eradicate this menace.

France is a civilized nation so they’re not insecure about that. They’re not gonna worry about offending Muslims. They’re not gonna worry about civil liberties, they’re gonna go in and get the job done… (Americans) are reminded of 9/11 and they want our president to make sure we fight these guys there so we don’t have to fight them here.

Not one of Watters’ cohosts objected to the idea of tossing out our Constitutional rights.

Sadly, this seems to be part of a Fox News trend. On Monday night, Fox contributor Bo Dietl announced, “Let’s stop worrying about people’s rights” when fighting terrorism. Dietl was part of a three-person panel but nobody, including host and  self-styled “Great American” Sean Hannity objected.

As I posted earlier today, tossing out the bedrock of our democracy is playing right into the hands of ISIS. It should not be tolerated. Period.

By the way, Watters who has served as the managing editor of Fox Nation had this as part of its Statement of Purpose: "The Fox Nation was created for people who believe in the United States of America and its ideals, as expressed in the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and the Emancipation Proclamation." Maybe Watters should leave. Now.

Watch Watters betray our democracy at about 1:15 in the video below, from the November 18 Outnumbered.

Just like his dear former Fuehrer Dumbya Bush, Jesse Watters obviously believes the Constitution is “just a g**damned piece of paper”.

Hey, remember the other day, when Texas lawmakers said that the reason they wouldn’t allow refugees into their state was because they thought they’d have to make it harder to get a gun to keep the brown people from being able to defend themselves?

Yeah, if Texas was a blue state, Watters would be hyping up his newest ambush video. But since red states are the ones saying this, he has to help defend them from that nasty constitution.

Ask Benjamin Franklin about this:

-“Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.”

Well damn — if these Fox Noisemakers are that unconcerned about civil liberties all of a sudden, then this should be an EXCELLENT time to pass some gun control legislation.

How ‘bout it, NRA and wingnut enablers? I’m sure you don’t want to be counted among ISIS supporters by insisting on civil liberties while we’re at war . . .

Maybe someone should suggest that FoxNoise is supporting terrorists and terrorism and raid the network’s offices. And since the talking heads are so appreciative of how the French “aren’t worrying about civil liberties,” then they shouldn’t mind being handcuffed and strip-searched and perp-walked out of the building for “further questioning.”

Bet every last one of these MFers would be screaming for lawyers and demanding the firing of every last officer who “violated” the mouthpieces’ civil liberties.
