Sheriff David Clarke’s tweets about the killing of two police officers in Mississippi almost certainly ensured that his daily visits to Fox News will continue unabated.
From Raw Story:
Less than 24 hours after two officers were gunned down in Mississippi, the sheriff of Milwaukee County — a frequent guest on Fox News — blamed the killing on President Barack Obama on Twitter, saying the president “started this war on police.”
Earlier Sunday, Sheriff David A. Clarke, noted the shooting that claimed the lives on two officers, 34-year-old Benjamin Deen and 25-year-old Liquori Tate, in Hattiesburg. The sheriff re-tweeted: “Basic traffic stop in Hattiesburg, 2 Police Officers assassinated. The post Ferguson targeting of our Cops continues.”
As I’ve repeatedly noted, Clarke has all but taken up residence at Fox News. There, he plays the role of African-American black attacker, usually with inflammatory rhetoric such as accusing President Obama of "enjoying" the violent protests in Baltimore and declaring Obama was insincere when he called for calm in Ferguson – and then attacks Obama as divisive and incendiary.
The only question about Clarke’s appearance on Fox tomorrow is which prime time show he’ll be booked for. I’m going to bet he’ll be on Fox & Friends, too.
The Stop Hannity Express presents articles about the good ole’s sheriff’s own backyard. It’s not a pretty picture.
Look at his area’s crime rate!!!!!!!
Clarke’s policing of a park was stripped and handed over to Milwaulkee Police
Roy Felber, president of the Milwaukee Deputy Sheriffs’ Association, called out Clarke’s lunatic suggestions on 911 calls.
Clarke is too busy appearing on tv to concern himself with the high crime rate in his area. If he ever runs for office challenge him on these gems.
You know, if Obama were really the evil man that right-wingers like to think he is, he’d be blocking every last dime of Federal funding going to Milwaukee County (as well as demanding a full refund of all moneys sent there for the last few years).
