BREAKING: Roger Ailes Reportedly Under Consideration For State Department Under Secretary

Disgraced sexual predator Roger Ailes is reportedly being considered for a position in the Donald Trump State Department, as under secretary for public diplomacy. I kid you not. UPDATED with Trump denial.

About an hour ago, Al Jazeera’s Mehdi Hasan tweeted:

John Bolton, Trump's Dep Secretary of State choice, is keen on Ailes, too. "Bolton and Ailes are buddies," my State Dept source reminds me.

Ailes was pushed out of Fox News because of multiple accusations of sexual harassment. If Trump is even considering a role for Ailes it strongly suggests he has not changed at all since his “grab them by the p***y” days.

UPDATE: Trump's spokeswoman has denied this, as per Washington Post's Erik Wemple.
