Andrea Tantaros Suggests Planned Parenthood Doctors Kill More People Than Terrorists

If Andrea Tantaros was looking for a new low in exploiting the San Bernardino tragedy, she likely reached it today when she suggested that Planned Parenthood – which was just the victim of another mass shooting – is more heinous than actual terrorists.

Before she got to smearing Planned Parenthood, Tantaros did a little hatchet job on those calling for stricter gun laws in the wake of the San Bernardino mass shooting.

TANTAROS: Terrorists, they don’t follow gun laws, they don’t, and so all this call to action that we’re hearing from DC is only going to hurt the law-abiding citizen and, frankly, if someone would have had a gun that day, they may have been able to actually save some lives.

Tantaros’ liberal hate and gun love was seconded by Fox’s own Katie Pavlich. Pavlich attacked the New York Daily News for saying that NRA head Wayne LaPierre enables terrorism with the organization’s “sick gun jihad.”

To Pavlich, the NRA is a “civil rights organization.” Which is not surprising given that Pavlich has nothing but contempt for African American civil rights.

PAVLICH: By them putting Wayne LaPierre, who is in charge of a civil rights organization that has been part of American culture for more than a hundred years, and compare him to not only Islamic jihadists but also mass shooters, it’s completely dishonest and it’s false journalism…

By the way, it’s the NRA now who is more in touch with Americans and how they feel after a terrorist attack. It’s the NRA who’s trying to protect the rights of Americans when a terrorist is on the loose in your neighborhood…

I hate to break it to Pavlich, but the NRA is completely out of step with Americans on gun rights – unless you count the fact that a big majority of its members join the majority of other Americans who support background checks on all gun purchases, which the organization opposes.

Not that anyone else on the all-conservative panel pointed that out. They were too busy fanning more outrage:

MELISSA FRANCIS: They’re putting on equal footing, you know, somebody who is advocating Islamic terror against somebody who is clearly mentally ill with someone who is defending people’s legal rights. What if you put the CEO of Planned Parenthood on there as well? I mean, people would say that is somebody who’s defending people’s legal rights. It isn’t different from the NRA. What kind of an outrage would that cause?

…

TANTAROS: They don’t want to talk about that. Even though the president conflated what happened in Colorado with Paris, nobody wants to talk about who has the higher body count: the doctors at Planned Parenthood or the jihadists.

Let’s not forget that this “pro life” sentiment comes from a woman who urged her radio show listeners to “do me a favor” and punch an Obama supporter “in the face.”

Let me say at the outset one thing said here by the Fox News "Outnumbered’’ partisans is true. While I’m clearly often a critic of the NRA and view their unreasonable views on guns a huge problem, the NY Daily News calling LaPierre a terrorist is clear bait click hyperbole.

That said, is it any different than Fox News’ endless hysteria Obama is in league with the terrorists?

The 800 pound guerilla in the room is Fox News is always screaming in moral outrage the media is filled with liberal bias and liberals are so intolerant of opposing viewpoints. So what do we have here? A politically non-diverse conservative panel bobbleheading the usual right-wing talk radio memes.

Liberals have shredded the conservative mythology of the armed citizen foiling mass shootings. That’s all conveniently filtered out by “Outnumbered.” As is the obvious point gun restrictions in places like California are only as strong as the weakest link in the chain. So is seems the San Bernardino shooters got their military style rifles from another state.

I’m familiar with this last concept because the NRA here in Virginia successfully lobbied for a repeal of gun straw purchases which put a limit at 10 per month. So now we’re a supplier to crimals in places like Washington DC and New York City.

Tantaros gives me gas.
Not a good thing.
But neither is she.
