Jon Stewart did an epic monologue on race this week. Much of it was about the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity caught reciting a racist chant. But several minutes in, Stewart turned his sites on Fox News’ hypocritical dismissal of racist incidents as “an unending series of isolated events.”

Sean Hannity interviewed a number of Ferguson protesters last night, including some who were in the crowd when the two officers were shot. But rather than trying to learn from them, Hannity used them as props to advance his hostile, race-baiting agenda.

Sean Hannity – the guy who promoted Cliven Bundy’s armed insurrection against the U.S. government – should not be allowed to blame Attorney General Eric Holder, President Obama or anyone else who merely sympathized with the protesters in Ferguson for the shooting of two police officers there. 

Funny, Fox News and the right wing actually believe that liberalism is an evil radical worldview. Meanwhile, as seen in the selection of the key-note speakers for the annual New Jersey Right to Life dinner, it is obvious that the anti-abortion movement, reverentially embraced by Fox and the right wing, has some pretty radical connections of its own!

The phony patriots of Outnumbered were just outraged that students at University of California, Irvine want to ban the flag in certain places on campus. Ironically, while the five cohosts couldn’t say enough wonderful things about the flag, they also couldn’t say enough terrible things about their fellow Americans who want to use the freedom the flag supposedly represents.

Andrea Tantaros, a single 35 year old, is very private about her relationship status. But she is very public about her view that liberal women are a bunch of sluts. One hopes that if she is involved, it's a chaste relationship because, as we saw on yesterday's Outnumbered, she's still slut shaming women who own their sexuality. 

In another round of racially-selective finger pointing, the white crew of Fox & Friends this morning ignored the history of systemic racism in Ferguson and decided that it was Attorney General Eric Holder’s blackitude that caused two police officers to be shot there last night.

Tragically, two police officers have been shot in Ferguson, Missouri tonight. Fox News went live with, among others, Mark Fuhrman. Sure enough, he blamed the Obama administration – by suggesting they had catered too much to a thuggish community.

Remember Kathleen Willey? She accused Bill Clinton of sexually harassing her, insinuated he had her husband killed, blamed him for the burglary of her house and more. Even the independent counsel investigating the Monica Lewinsky matter found her not credible. 

Fox’s Ralph Peters was foaming at the mouth last night with both his hatred of President Obama and his love for the 47 Republican senators who wrote an open letter to Iran designed to undermine Obama’s nuclear negotiations with the country.
