Fox Ignores Ryan's Falsehoods While Swooning Over His Convention Speech
Paul Ryan told a number of falsehoods in his convention speech last night. But you'd never know that to listen to the "fair and balanced" analysts on Fox News last night who came on to discuss it. They seemed to be vying for who could be his biggest fan.

Read moreJuan Williams Criticized For Calling Ann Romney 'A Corporate Wife'
While others on Fox News gushed over Ann Romney's convention speech last night, Juan Williams was left cold. He said Ann Romney "looked to me like a corporate wife" and that it was "hard for me to believe" her story about struggling. "She did not convince me that, 'You know what? I understand the struggles of American women,'" he added. You could hear the shock and disbelief in the voices of the other panelists who couldn't seem to say enough good things about Romney's speech. Today, on Fox News radio, Chris Wallace criticized Williams' comment as "dumb." But I can't remember any criticism on Fox when Williams said about Michelle Obama, "She's Got The Stokely Carmichael In A Designer Dress Thing Going."

Megyn Kelly And Brit Hume Dis The Star Spangled Banner!
Yesterday, during their Republican convention coverage, Megyn Kelly and Brit Hume kept right on talking during the singing of the Star Spangled Banner. Mediaite noted that while MSNBC aired the song in full, Kelly and Hume "acknowledged the anthem before going right back to discussing the convention. But I think Cameron may have taken it a bit too far when he bubbled that Mrs. Romney is “very normal, very average.”

Fox Pounds the 2016 Drum In the Face of ‘Mainstream Media Indifference’ (!?)
The official box-office figures are in for the first general-release weekend for “2016: Obama’s America”, Dinesh D’Souza’s conservative film purporting to tell us all about the roots of Obama’s anti-colonial, anti-American views. The film has done very well, as Fox Nation made sure we knew. According to its post, the film finished the weekend at #8 with sales of $6.5 million – extremely good for a documentary - and the highest per-screen theater average ($5,717), thanks no doubt to all those advance sales and pre-organized trips mentioned in an earlier post.

If you thought Chris Wallace’s infomercial about the Romneys was a puff piece, wait until you see Megyn Kelly’s two-segment gush-fest with Mitt Romney’s five sons. I wouldn’t have thought it possible but she managed to make Wallace look positively hard hitting.
