Fox Cheerleads Romney's Odds Of Winning - Now Up To 34% After Debate

Posted by Ellen -7835.60pc on October 04, 2012 · Flag

FoxNews.com is trumpeting on its home page an article on FoxBusiness.com called, Romney's Odds of Winning Edge Higher. True enough. But Romney's edge only increased from dismal to poor. If you read the actual article, the first two sentences are, "GOP presidential contender Mitt Romney's Intrade odds of winning rose to 34%, 'back to where they were the day before the 47% video was released,' says Peter Boockvar of Miller Tabak, referring to the governor’s comment caught on video that 47% of Americans view themselves as entitled to government benefits. Boockvar adds the odds are 'up from 26% yesterday and 21% on Sunday.'"

Romney went out this morning and admitted some of his lies, followed up by saying that it shouldn’t matter. I’m expecting him to finish out the week with this bounce already gone.

And then some.

Report on that, Fox News.

Hooray!

Of course, that still means Rmoney has a 66% chance of LOSING — but, hey, basic math has never been the rightwingnuts’ strong suit . . .

@Richard: not only Americans, “purtroppo”.
There seems to be a world-wide epidemic of bad politicians and Italy has caught a bad case of it. The best vaccine is …. a lot of education with a liberal dash of information from a wide variety of sources. But that’s the last thing self-seeking politicians want

Dontchya just love how they change their minds with regard to the credibility of polls?

For my part, I’d be delighted if all they did was recover the level (about one-third) attained before governor Romney insulted almost half the Americans. Amazing how the latter could forget those insults so quickly.
