Megyn Kelly Says Beyoncé's Lyrics Are 'Skanky'
Roger Ailes knows that sex sells. And that's why Fox females are positioned so that the camera can make maximum use of their legs which, in the case of Megyn Kelly, are famous. Yet, when it comes to Beyoncé's performance at the VMA awards, Fox is taking a very Victorian stance because Queen Bey dared to combine her raw sexuality with a message on feminism which, with its message of empowerment, is very threatening to those who want women to know their place in the patriarchy. As the mouthpiece for this medieval, misogynistic world view, Fox News has hosted anti-feminist Suzanne Venker and the Princeton Mom who thinks that college is only for finding a husband. Last night, Megyn Kelly and her anti-feminist guest Mollie Hemingway continued this narrative by trashing both Beyoncé' and feminism which, according to Rush Limbaugh, "allows ugly women access to society." Beyoncé says otherwise and Fox isn't happy!

As they did in smearing Trayvon Martin as a young black thug who had it coming, Fox News is doing the same thing with Michael Brown. Last week, Fox ran with discredited account that purported to show that Brown was acting aggressively. While acknowledging that their source's story hadn't been verified, a number of Fox talkers claimed that Officer Wilson suffered a facial fracture because he was assaulted by Brown - a story that has subsequently been debunked. Bill O'Reilly and Peter Johnson Jr. claimed that the video of Brown, allegedly robbing a store, was relevant to the case even though the Ferguson Police Chief said it wasn't. And this morning, the very irrelevant GOP spokesperson Linda Chavez, in engaging in the now patented Fox trashing of Eric Holder, said that Michael Brown, who is being buried today, couldn't be considered unarmed because he was so big. Just when you thought it couldn't go any lower.....
Read moreOn Fox & Friends: Murdoch Minion Jason Riley Tells Blacks To Stop Being Murderous Thugs
As Russell Brand so wisely said, the racism on Fox News is "so outrageous, it's nearly art." But in an attempt to bring some "diversity" to its race baiting, Fox News outsources some of its race baiting to conservative African-Americans who, just like the white Fox hosts, disparage blacks and in so doing assure Fox's white racist audience that even black people are in synch with Fox's racist narratives. One of Fox's acceptable blacks is Jason Riley who is also employed by the Wall Street Journal which is, like Fox, part of the Murdoch empire. Riley's views are very conservative and, like so many on Fox, he dismisses poverty and systemic racism in order to blame blacks for the injustices and brutality perpetrated on them. Last week, Riley appeared on Fox & Friends to discuss the Ferguson situation. He went from trashing Eric Holder, a popular Fox spectator sport, to demeaning blacks for being a bunch of murderous thugs. Steve Doocy smiled. Nuff said...

Fox News outrageousness last week was, not surprisingly, much about the protests in Ferguson, Missouri, over the police killing of unarmed African American teen Michael Brown. But we've got some doozies on Muslims, the roots of "Bless you" and a pair of 2012 Republican candidates.

Last week, Fox News repeatedly aired the claim that the white police officer who shot and killed the unarmed African American teen, Michael Brown, in Ferguson, Missouri had suffered a fractured eye socket from an attack by Brown. The report, based on an anonymous source, originally from a right-wing blog, was nonetheless touted by every prime time host. But CNN was not only unable to confirm the injury, it has received information from its own source that there was no such fracture.
