Jeanine Pirro developed such a passion for truth this weekend – as she alone sees it - that she shut down an interview about the circumstances surrounding Michael Brown’s shooting death by a Ferguson, MO police officer rather than listen to what her guests had to say.
It’s not as though Pirro’s guests were some kind of fringe nutjobs. They were former St. Louis Mayor Freeman Bosley Jr. and his colleague, attorney James Williams, who represent Brown’s friend and shooting witness Dorian Johnson.

“The truth here is that these two unarmed young men were running down the street away from a police officer, when he chased them and gunned them down,” Williams said. “He didn’t try to apprehend them without using deadly force. They were doing nothing other than walking in the middle of the street.”
“All this distraction about whether or not he was shot in the back or the back of the arm is of no moment,” he added. “But it consistent with Dorian Johnson’s testimony.”
“It is of a moment!” Pirro interrupted. “We can’t both talk at the same time. I’m asking the questions. Mr. Wilson, if you don’t want to listen to the question then there’s no point in continuing with this conversation.”
For the record, Bosley and Williams were correct when they said that the autopsy conducted by Michael Baden found that at least one bullet could have been shot while Brown had his back to Officer Darren Wilson. From CBS News:
Forensic pathologist Shawn Parcells, who assisted former New York City chief medical examiner Dr. Michael Baden during the private autopsy, said a bullet grazed Brown’s right arm. He said the wound indicates Brown may have had his back to the shooter, or he could have been facing the shooter with his hands above his head or in a defensive position across his chest or face.
“We don’t know,” Parcells said. “We still have to look at the other (elements) of this investigation before we start piecing things together.”
While Pirro held herself out as a champion of truth, she displayed no such ambition when Donald Trump was in his birther phase. Not only did Pirro failed to challenge his already-proven false allegations about President Obama’s birth certificate, she twice promoted Trump’s fiction as fact.
