Fox Nation Headline Wrongly Titles Brown U Event As "Nude Week"
The education and science hating denizens of Fox Nation are probably not fans of Ivy League schools which, according to Jesse Watters and his fellow perv, Bill O'Reilly, are dens of sexual abandon. In order to reinforce that message, Watters was tasked with going to Brown University in order to put together a video about a school event which "explores nudity in all forms." That message is now being advanced on Fox Nation which wrongly titles the event, "Nudity in the Upspace," as "Nudity Week." But why stay with reality when fantasy is so much more titillating!
Read moreTodd Starnes Newest Lie: Pres. Obama Stops 50 Priests From Saying Mass
Todd "Toddles" Starnes might be Jesus' BFF; but that doesn't stop him from lying his copious, Southern fried ass off whenever the opportunity presents itself. And despite his problem with truthiness, he had no qualms over accusing President Obama of lying about the Affordable Care Act. Toddles' sources? Anecdotes posted on his Facebook! Yesterday, in yet another example of Toddles' less than honest reporting, he provided his drooling Twitter followers with information that was pulled straight from the aforementioned posterior. According to Toddles, the evil Muslim, Marxist, atheist, Kenyan born, communist, Satan worshipping president "won't let 50 Catholic military chaplains celebrate Mass today." Bet ya didn't know; that but thanks to all the Christian and right wing blogs who hang on everything said or penned by Starnes, lots of people now do!
Read moreOn The New ‘Kelly File,’ Megyn Kelly Kinda Grills Ted Cruz, Yuks It Up To Blame Obama For Government Shutdown Problems
The first night of Megyn Kelly’s new primetime show, The Kelly File, is in the bag and, overall, I’d give it a big yawn. As much as I dislike Kelly, I will say that her lead-off interview with Senator Ted Cruz was not bad. But the rest of the show? Unless you want to see a photo of her new baby or the video she sent to Fox that got her a job there or are curious about how The Five gets along with each other – well, it was kind of thin on substance as far as I'm concerned. But then again, I’m hardly her target audience. Oh, and in case you’re wondering… she just happens to have a see-through desk that shows off the short dress and her legs much like the old show.
Read moreVan Susteren Prompts Israel’s Netanyahu To Criticize Obama’s Negotiations With Iran
Fox News “liberal,” Greta Van Susteren landed a lengthy interview with Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and he sounded more supportive of the United States than she did about President Obama’s recent discussion with President Hassan Rouhani of Iran and the likelihood of negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program. In fact, Van Susteren made several obvious attempts to get Netanyahu to criticize U.S. policy.
Read moreFox Nation Still Running Bogus 'Amber Alert' Story
Fox News and right wing blogs have been running with the lie that because the Department of Justice's Amber Alert program website was down, the program is no longer in operation. That is patently wrong because the alerts never stopped. And despite Fox News' cavalier attitude that the "Slimdown" is no big whoop, Steve Doocy was in near hysterics, this morning, with his claim that the Justice Department's "Amber Alert" had been shut down and ain't it awful because Obama...Fox Nation has a lede headlined with the the inflammatory and partisan "Govt's Amber Alert Site Shuttered, WH First Targets Veterans, Now Targeting Children in Shutdown." But the website is back online. So will Fox & Friends issue a correction tomorrow? And will Fox Nation take down their story now that their source has issued a correction? What will the Fox say?
Read moreStephen Colbert Lampoons Bill O'Reilly's Divine Inspiration
Last week, Stephen Colbert did a hilarious send-up of Bill O'Reilly's claims of divine inspiration and special "gifts." Especially amusing was the part where God's message to Charlton Heston's "Moses" was Bill's famous "f**k it, we'll do it live." He showed video in which the thin skinned O'Reilly attacks, as a "pinhead," a journalist who allegedly "mocked" O'Reilly's faith. In hitting O'Reilly's hypocrisy, Colbert described him as someone who is "full of the spirit of Christianity" who has a "no forgiveness mother, f**ker" theology. Colbert also satirized the idea of "voices" from God heard "in the middle of the night." Somehow I don't think that O'Reilly will attack Colbert in the same way that he did the journalist whose satire was far gentler. Could Bill be scared of "Colbert Nation?" Enjoy.
Outrageous Quote Of The Week Poll 9/2913-10/5/13
If this isn’t a week of outrageousness, I don’t know what is. We’ve got Bill O’Reilly talking about how he was divinely inspired to write his latest book, Todd Starnes wondering if he’ll still be fondled by the TSA if there’s a government shutdown, FoxNews.com trying to make the shutdown sound like a diet plan – and oh, so much more. You’ve got your work cut out for you this week, dear readers!
Read moreHuckabee Blasts Cruz And The Intransigent Republicans Over Government Shutdown
Mike Huckabee is about as conservative as they come. But as a former governor of Arkansas, he knows a thing or two about governing and he blasted the intransigent Republicans who are holding the U.S. economy hostage – along with their enabling talk show hosts, such as Sean Hannity - with both barrels this weekend.
Read moreStephen Colbert Mocks Fox News' 'Government Slimdown'
As of last night, FoxNews.com was still calling the government shutdown a "slimdown." But today, after FNC's new media critic, Howard Kurtz, criticized it - again - they seem to be back to the "shutdown" word. But not before Stephen Colbert had a chance to give them the comedic spanking they deserve!
Read moreBill O'Reilly: Brown U. Students Took On Jesse Watters Because They're 'Scared' Of Him
Bill O'Reilly's devout Catholicism doesn't seem to get in the way of his fascination with anything that could have a sexual connotation. As such, he sends out his stalker producer, Jesse Watters, to seek out stories that involve the sexy even when the topic has nothing to do with anything prurient, such as when Watters stalked nudists under the pretense of interviewing them about politics. The videos afford O'Reilly and Watters the opportunity to giggle like a couple of jr. high school boys who have discovered their father's Playboy's. Watters recently stalked Brown University students about a campus event that “discusses and explores nudity in all forms." Brown students, who have been the target of Watters' and O'Reilly's mocking and exploitation in the past, pushed back with a video of their own. Because the video is critical of Watters, O'Reilly used the opportunity to further attack the students and in so doing, validate their talking points including their appropriate description of Watters as a "creepy, ambushing, stalker lunatic."
