Fox News’ Peters Slobbers Over ‘Sharp, Cool’ Putin
Fox News’ Lt. Col. Ralph Peters was so openly admiring of Russian President Vladimir Putin last night that you might wonder why Peters doesn’t just defect. It’s one thing to criticize President Obama’s foreign policy toward Russia and the Ukraine. But it’s another to keep suggesting that Putin is the leader you wish we had in the U.S.

You can bet that if an atheist group did a documentary which ascribed the Catholic Church's pedophilia scandal to Catholic theology, Fox News would be consumed with righteous outrage. Yet, when Muslims voiced their concerns about the agenda behind what they feel is an agenda driven movie, "Honor Diaries," which purports to show that domestic violence against Muslim women is intrinsic to Islam, Fox News launched a full scale attack against those critics. Most of the attacks were directed against the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR), which feels that the film isn't exactly fair and balanced. Last night, Megyn Kelly underscored why Fox has been described as an "echo chamber" for America's Islamophobic cottage industry. In continuing to defame the film's critics, including CAIR, she saved her most potent venom for a woman who has tangential connections to the White House. So not only did she get to attack Linda Sasour; but she was able to play guilt by association ("palling around with terrorist?") too. Good times!

Sean Hannity may have weaseled out of undergoing waterboarding for himself but that doesn’t mean he’s not eager to waterboard others! No, Siree! Last night, he was so enthusiastic about the practice, he announced to guest Liz Cheney, “I would have done it myself.” Meanwhile, Cheney once again complained that the Senate Intelligence Committee’s investigation of torture practices is a distraction from Benghazi.

Megyn Kelly was a vision of Republican glee last night as she gloated over a report that the White House is not meeting its own objective of paying women and men equally. But then multimillionaire Kelly argued that it's actually risky to help women suffering from a pay gap. At the same time, she argued that there is no gender pay gap.

Apparently, Stephen Colbert struck a nerve last week with his satiric take on Bill O’Reilly’s defense of inequality. So tonight, Bill O’Reilly struck back with a bizarre rant that somehow suggested Colbert was responsible for the UConn riots. I’ll post both videos and let you be the judge of who got the best of whom.
Read moreAnn Coulter: Fox’s Standard-Bearer For Tolerance In The Mozilla CEO Debate
Last night, Sean Hannity hosted a discussion about the forced resignation of Brendan Eich as CEO of Mozilla because of his support for a gay marriage ban in California six years ago. Instead of a legitimate discussion about the pros and cons of judging a CEO by his political beliefs, the Hannity show brought on Ann Coulter – of all people - to complain about intolerance on the left.

While Fox News provides warm validation for those Christians who think that their First Amendment rights to religious freedom are being violated. But non-Christians, who complain about possible violations of the First Amendment's "establishment clause," are ridiculed and attacked on Fox. So in keeping with the narrative that it's OK for Christians to violate other's religious freedom and their recent week-long attack on alleged Islamic intolerance, Fox is helping to spread more fear and loathing of Islam by ginning up a Todd Starnes generated controversy over concerns, by Muslim parents, about the appropriateness and legality of having a public school pass out flyers, advertising an Easter egg hunt, at a Presbyterian Church. According to Fox's one true propaganda priest, Fr. Jonathan Morris, it's no big deal because there's no such thing as separation of church and state!
Read moreElisabeth Hasselbeck Pimps Movie About 'Divine Journey' To Heaven
Fox News isn't, officially, a religious network, but their promotion of round trip voyages to heaven (White and Christian - just like Fox!), angel priests, and angels who cure cancer is right up there with those networks who, like Fox, peddle a gospel based on fantasy. But of all the heavenly day trippers, Fox & Friends' favorite tear jerker is Colton Burpo who, during his first interview with Gretchen Carlson in 2011, told a story of his meeting Jesus and living to tell the tale which was made into the book "Heaven is for Real." Burpo returned to the show, last year, where he told a gushing Steve Doocy that heaven is full of young attractive folks, except for miscarried fetuses who start off as babies and stop aging around 30. (That's what he said!) And now that Burpo's book has been made into a movie, he made an encore appearance on today's Fox & Friends where a gushing Elisabeth Hasselbeck helped him pimp this "true story" and do a little preaching.

“Liberal” Bob Beckel not only didn't mind Sean Hannity badgering and belittling his Muslim guest. No, Beckel made it two-on-one by trying to humiliate the man over Islamic terrorism, something he had no connection to and wasn’t even there to discuss. If ever there was a doubt that Beckel has become a complete Fox News stooge, watching this segment should dispel it.
