Megyn Kelly announced on her Facebook page that she will be leaving Fox News for NBC News. She has long said that her ambition was to be a talkshow host in the vein of Barbara Walters and she will now get her wish. Her departure also indicates that Fox News will go all in for Donald Trump.

Julian Assange gave Sean Hannity a cagey answer about Russian involvement in the Democratic campaign emails leaked by Wikileaks so wide you could drive a Russian tank through it. But this morning, five Fox News hosts and one correspondent pretended Assange had given an unequivocal denial.

In addition to its patented persecuted Christian narrative, Fox News is heavily invested in fomenting fear of "radical Islam." On this morning's Fox & Friends, data from a study on worldwide persecution of Christians was distorted in order to combine both memes in a brilliant propaganda twofer!

Fox News host (and potential Trump administration employee) Eric Bolling was such a shill for Donald Trump and his disturbing embrace of Russia that the liberal guest finally asked, in exasperation, “Can Obama do anything right for you?” Bolling’s answer proved just what a partisan hack he is.

In addition to persecuted Christians, students, and Christmas trees, Fox & Friends has a new victim: white men. Recently, in Fox's alternate universe, we were treated to a whinefest about poor, persecuted white guys. Crystal Wright, who provided an African-American perspective, validated the bogus meme and, for good measure, scolded black men for their bad behavior.

It's 2017 and while I do wish everyone a happy and healthy new year, anyone with a lick of sense knows we are in for a rough one. Hence (it's not often I get to use that word!), I am forgoing any happy pictures of fireworks or champagne-popping gifs. In fact, I am forgoing any pictures at all. Because we will soon face some serious, consequential moments.

Dr. Nicole Saphier, the doctor who previously complained about too many people having health insurance under Obamacare, helped promote Donald Trump’s pick for Secretary of Health and Human Services, Obamacare enemy Tom Price, as a terrific choice.

After being called out by the Department of Agriculture, the Washington Post and Mother Jones for using fake statistics as an excuse to “ask” if the food stamp program should be abolished, Fox & Friends host Abby Huntsman apologized today. She never explained where the fraudulent information came from or why neither she nor her two guests, including a Democrat, bothered to fact check it.

Deadbeat former Congressman Joe Walsh (R-IL), who has denigrated double-amputee Tammy Duckworth's war record despite never bothering to serve his country himself, went on quite the Twitter rant today accusing President Obama of being a Muslim.

Apparently, throwing people off health insurance and demolishing Medicare and Social Security is not enough destruction of our social safety nets for Fox News. Now those Christian Crusaders are “just asking” if we should eliminate food stamps, too. UPDATED
