Fox Already Spinning Possible Syria Resolution As A Loss For Obama
Leave it to those patriots at Fox to take the news that a possible diplomatic and political resolution may have forestalled a military strike against Syria - and hype it as some kind of loss and bad news for President Obama.

As I've often said, ain't no party like a Fox News right wing pity party. The most common whines, consumed during a Fox pity party, are those relating to how Christians are being persecuted by the evil librul and gay agendas. But right up there with aggrieved Christians are morally pure conservative students who are upset about evil librul college professors who say nasty things about Republicans because, you know, that's the kind hate speech that would be condemned if it were directed towards minorities and gays. Fox loves these students as their message reinforces the popular Fox meme about how "liberal indoctrination" is the cause for "the trouble with schools" - another popular Fox meme. Recently, a stalwart, young Republican Michigan State U sophomore did a sting video which purported to show a professor making offensive comments about the GOP and, OMG, the Romney's. The video went viral throughout right wing media, the prof was suspended, and - drum roll please - the heroic student, Evan Schrage, got more than his 15 minutes of fame on Fox News.

There's a great article by Steve Rendall for FAIR (Fairness & Accuracy in Reporting) called, Primetime Racism on Fox: Hannity’s long history of boosting bigots. Rendall catalogs Hannity's long record of cozying up to white bigots at the same time that he remains a hypervigilant critic of black racism. I'm proud to say that several News Hounds posts are referenced. But I would commend the article to our readers regardless.
Read moreFox News Fear Mongers About Solar Panels Catching On Fire
Fox News likes to downplay (i.e. deny) the dangers of climate change but when it come to solar panels? The "fair and balanced" network wants you to think you and your house could go up in flames at any minute! I'm sure it's just a coincidence that President Obama has put forth green energy incentives to fight climate change.

We've got another week of Fox News outrageousness to mull over and vote on. Put your thinking caps on, dear readers. Because while many can be nominated, only one can be the Outrageous Quote of the Week. Will Ann Coulter get a streak going and win for the second week in a row? Will Donald Rumsfeld grab his first award? How about Dana "Say The Pledge Of Allegiance My Way Or Hit The Highway" Perino? We've got all that and more after the jump.

It's time to take our weekly glimpses into the minds (or lack thereof) of Fox News viewers, at least the ones who can't seem to tell the difference between us and the "fair and balanced" cable news network. This week's subjects: further demonization of Trayvon Martin, a complaint about the "rude" military person "poignantly" looking down as Kerry spoke. And at least one from a liberal who proves that conservatives have not cornered the market on ignorance.
Read moreTodd Starnes' Persecuted Christian Whine Not Even Supported By Own Article
Fox News "mouth breather"Todd Starnes actually told his his pals in the SPLC designated homophobic hate group, The Family Research Council, that he "prides himself on his accuarcy" and that - wait for it - his readers are "getting the most accurate information possible." Somebody give me an ROFLMAO because, as so astutely pointed out by his critics, Todd is a "shit stirrer" who writes "formulaic columns in which he wildly misrepresents the actual set of circumstances, sources an anonymous person who always has some sort of excuse for why he or she must remain shrouded, and then tries his damnedest to create a national incident out of whole cloth, working with pals like Tony Perkins and Bryan Fischer (Starnes is a regular guest of both gentlemen's radio shows) to rile up the choir." But it's not only his columns, his tweets are full of glaring and incendiary statements, one of which isn't even supported by his actual article. But Toddles does love him his greasy Southern food and if it clogs up arteries, it probably clogs up the brain?!
Read moreJuan Williams Epic Benghazi Smackdown Of Karl Rove: This Is Not Going Away... It's Gone, Baby
Fox News Sunday - probably mindful that the big Benghazi anniversary they were so hoping to exploit is about to be overshadowed by Syria - spent eight minutes discussing Benghazi during today's panel discussion. Unfortunately, their efforts, spearheaded by Karl Rove, were magnificently thwarted by Juan Williams.
Read moreFox News Guest Wishes Obama Was More Like ‘Respected’ Bush Re Syria
While the rest of the world acknowledges that the misbegotten invasion of Iraq is hampering President Obama’s ability to get support for a military strike against Syria, Fox News seems determined to make Obama the sole villain – and rewrite history in favor of the George W. Bush administration. I’ve written already about Fox using Syria for a Republican Rehabbing of Rumsfeld. Last night, it was George W. Bush’s turn.
