Fox News Sunday - probably mindful that the big Benghazi anniversary they were so hoping to exploit is about to be overshadowed by Syria - spent eight minutes discussing Benghazi during today's panel discussion. Unfortunately, their efforts, spearheaded by Karl Rove, were magnificently thwarted by Juan Williams.
As Think Progress noted:
Williams disputed (Rove's GOP) charges point by point and explained that months of Republican-led Congressional hearings had been unable to uncover any evidence of a cover up. “It’s gone, baby. It’s in your head. That’s the only place,” he added.
Go, Juan!

Good job by Juan even though outnumbered 3X1 by the Repug partisan hacks. I disagree with him that “Benghazi” exists in Shit Fumes’ head. Fumes hasn’t had a cogent thought in his head since he joined Fux Noise. He randomly pulls right-wing talking points from his butt and labels them as news.

The silliest part of the whole clip was Karl Rove trying to muster up his best “I’m OUTRAGED!!!” voice to try to throw mud at the Obama Administration – accusing them of lies, malfeasance and anything else he could think of. Not even a smidge of irony there, considering the significant lies told by the Bush Administration under his watch, and the significant loss of life caused by those lies. Of course, when Rove turned away from Williams, he was openly smirking…
