O’Reilly Blames Schools And The Media For Jovan Belcher Tragedy
Bill O’Reilly has all the answers about the Jovan Belcher tragedy – that is, if you don’t pay too close attention to the inconsistencies. First, he wants you to know that it is “grossly irresponsible” to blame any cause other than Belcher, himself. Then, O’Reilly was willing to allow that substance abuse might have played a role so long as “the headline” remains that it was Belcher himself who was the villain. Then, at the end of two discussions, O’Reilly revealed that he thinks the real villains are the public schools and the media.
Read moreFox & Friends Outraged Over Obama Hosting Progressive Media But Had No Problem With George W Bush Hosting Right Wing Media
That the conservative couch crew on Fox & Friends has a bad case of hypocrisy is illustrated in their patented faux Fox outrage about how President Obama met with MSNBC and other progressive media hosts, yesterday, at the White House. Yet, they had no problem when a Republican President, George W Bush, met with right wing media members including Fox's very own - drum roll - please, Sean Hannity! The "friends" doubled down on their double standard by claiming that - ready for it - MSNBC is in the tank for Obama. And we all know that Fox News isn't in the tank for the GOP cuz it's fair & balanced, ya think!

Move over, Sarah Palin. Greta Van Susteren seems to have a new BFF and this one just happens to be another Republican female governor in the spotlight as a potential national candidate: New Mexico's Governor Susana Martinez. Despite the fact that Martinez said in the more than half-hour interview two nights ago that she has "no thoughts on" running for president, Van Susteren's blog post about the interview is called, "New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez: The future of the GOP?" Plus, Martinez told Van Susteren that the reason she went to law school was because, "I thought you had to be a lawyer in order to get into national politics." But wait, there's more.

In case you thought the General David Petraeus situation couldn't get any stranger, now Bob Woodward - Hannity's latest BFF - has reported - in the Washington Post Style section, of all places - that Fox News chief Roger Ailes sent messages to Petraeus via Fox News national security analyst and online host K.T. McFarland urging him to position himself to run for president against President Obama in 2012.

Leave it to master baiter Sean Hannity to turn a segment about Bob Costas’ gun control-favoring comments in the wake of the Jovan Belcher murder/suicide into one on race. The producers’ choice of guests – African American Leo Terrell, a civil rights attorney, and Erik Rush, one of Hannity’s regularly designated African-American black attackers – strongly suggested a desire to use this segment to play the race card. And, in a typical Hannity maneuver, outsource the racial attacks. Sure enough, that’s exactly what happened, although there was so much shouting, it became hard to make out who was saying what.
Read moreO'Reilly Admits Christianity Is A Religion
Last night, during his War on Christmas discussion with Father Jonathan Morris, Bill O'Reilly made a rather startling admission: Christianity is a religion. Why is this statement that most of us would consider an obvious truth significant? Because just last week, when he was attacking arguments against Christmas displays on public property, O'Reilly insisted to the atheist he began yelling at that Christianity is a philosophy.

While one in five Americans have no religious affiliation, American Christianity is still doing just fine except on Fox News where those who are clinging to their bibles are convinced that evil atheists are out to snatch those bibles from their cold, dead hands. Fox & Friends is the place where these persecuted Christians receive warm fellowship from their fellow curvy couch Christians. This morning, Fox professional Christian, Gretchen Carlson was all aglow with the spirit of Christian victimhood as she spoke to GOP House Rep. and chair of the Congressional Prayer Caucus, Randy Forbes, about how evil non-believers are trying to force new members of congress to stay out of the Congressional Prayer Caucus because of its advocacy for conservative Christian issues. Forget Jesus, the Congressional Prayer Caucus has a friend in Fox & Friends.

If there's one thing that makes watching Fox's war on Christmas coverage bearable, it's the realization of how much great material it provides for Jon Stewart. Last night, he did not disappoint. Noting that Fox's War on Christmas has "become a little predictable," he played Madlibs with Fox segments to prove his point.
Fox Nation Uses WND Article Baselessly Accusing Black Football Players Of Racist Assault
Like the America of Jim Crow, Fox Nation is inhabited by racists who not only loathe African-Americans, but actually would like to see them dead. As such, those who select articles for Fox Nation appear to deliberately post threads designed to make African-Americans look bad so that the patriotic Fox Nation residents can let loose with vile racist rhetoric. Such is the case with the thread titled "Football Stars Charged in Racial Knockout Game" which links to an article from World Net Daily which, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, is now trafficking in white nationalism. In implying a racial motivation for an alleged assault by a black man on a white man, the article suggests that racially motivated black on white crime is part of a national problem. Nice to see that Fox Nation, devoted to those who "oppose intolerance," is pushing a meme that's popular with white nationalists!
