Move over, Sarah Palin. Greta Van Susteren seems to have a new BFF and this one just happens to be another Republican female governor in the spotlight as a potential national candidate: New Mexico's Governor Susana Martinez. Despite the fact that Martinez said in the more than half-hour interview two nights ago that she has "no thoughts on" running for president, Van Susteren's blog post about the interview is called, "New Mexico Gov. Susana Martinez: The future of the GOP?" Plus, Martinez told Van Susteren that the reason she went to law school was because, "I thought you had to be a lawyer in order to get into national politics." But wait, there's more.
Van Susteren put together a slideshow of her get-together with Martinez which also included a visit "to the restaurant she announced her candidacy for Governor (a Dem owns it) and the owner called in a Mariachi band as a special surprise."
Do you think Van Susteren was a special emissary from Roger Ailes, a la K.T. McFarland and General Petraeus? Is there any reason not to suspect so?
